It was originally a song in support of the then early days of the leftist counterculture but is appropriate to what's going on now. BTW you can see a very young Neil Young, now an intolerant old leftist buffoon, in this video.

A good video, The Hock. I have read that Demsey would chew on a hickory stick to strengthen his jaws and soak his face in vinegar brine to toughen it and prevent cuts. Supposedly, he would lie on his side and let people step on his jaw to build punch resistance.

I'm gonna call you DJ Bucky. Another great song & video. I live for music from the old to the new and it's just such a journey. It's kind of like foods. You can have your favorite but you have to experiment with alot of other types. Not like that with my women though. I like them when they have the same culuture, values and traditions.

Ah, the mid-1960s, an interesting time, still a lot of innocence and admirable and honorable intentions before the Permanent Cultural Communist Revolution went hard-core circa 1968. Men were still men and girls were still girls, before the natural harmony between the sexes fell under an all-out assault that has resulted in the ruination we see today.

California was still California then and who represented it better than the Beach Boys.

I've seen the Beach Boys in Concert. Alot of replacements in the band but still good. For anyone that likes the 1960's I have a tv show
for you guys. It's called "Mad Men". They did a good job of recreating that decade for the most part. A few dislikes but overall worth
a watch.
