I believe I saw this week where Mark Ingram ran blistering 4.62 at the NFL Combines. One of my questions is where will he play in the NFL at 5'9 195lbs? Wasn't itjust last year at the combines nobody thought Toby Gerhart would run under 4.6 and I believe he ran a 4.54 at 6'1 235lbs. They were determined to make him a fullback! That's great fullback size and speed, but where's Ingram in all this? Will he drop to the 2nd or 3rd round? Will he make a nice fullback?

If I'm wrong with some of these numbers, please correct me, but I think I'm pretty close!

Thank you Toby for breaking 4.6, because if you wouldn't have, you would have dropped to 6th or 7th round or worse yethad to sign on as a free agent.
 
Mawk Ingram is a disgrace. He'll go early in the draft for sure though. Just like Maurice Clarett who I believe went in the third round after running in the 4.7-4.8 range.
 
I don't know that Ingram isa disgrace, rather he's yet another beneficiary of the Caste System. I do hope he flops big-time in the NFL, as blacks have been at that position in recent years. Of the RBs that went in the first two rounds last year, all underachieved or were injured -- Spiller, Matthews, Best, Tate and Hardesty. The other one was Gerhart, the only one not drafted to be a starter. In '09, Moreno and Brown went in the first round and Moreno has struggled while Brown is close to being widely acknowledged as a bust.

There just aren't enough good black football players at any position anymore to keep the Caste System farce going much longer.
 
Right Don, but with the emergence of Peyton Hillis, Danny Woodhead, and possibly Gerhart, will the NFL learn or will they continue downthe same path towards mediocrity and tolerate those busts.

Another important reminder, Hillis, Woodhead, and Gerhart will have to continue to perform to give hope to other white runningbacks, if they don't, we may be back to square one.
 
Oh, they'll keep doing what they've been doing until they're left with no other choice. The NFL has a lot invested in the Caste System, as does the ruling class. Sports and certain areas of entertainment are the only areas that many people would agree that blacks have talent comparable to that of Whites, with many being indoctrinated through the Caste System that blacks arevastly superior to Whites in athletics. Artificially uplifting blacks in this manner has been effective in not only lowering the confidence and self-image of Whites, but in giving blacks more confidence and giving them something to look up to and call "their own." That is not going to be easily taken away when it has been so effective inturning most Whitesinto self-loathing DWFs.

The communist Israel Cohen was quite blunt a century ago in stating the benefits of what would become the U.S.'s Caste System in sports:

"We must realize that our party's most powerful weapon is racial tensions. By propounding into the consciousness of the dark races that for centuries they have been oppressed by whites, we can mold them to the program of the Communist Party. Ingram isn't going to pan out in the NFL. Even if he is given a starting position somewhere, he won't last.

I believe Toby's unofficial time was a 4.53, the his official was a 4.57. Still a great number for a 231 lbs running back. Mark Ingram weighed 215 lbs at the combine right? I can't remember. I know he dropped a little weight in order to run faster (obviously didn't help haha) but the fact remains that he will end up like a Moreno. He will probably get a lot of carries which will get him yards the first couple years, but he (like Moreno) is not really starting material. I think this really is showing how overrated the SEC has become lately.<div>
</div><div>But, per the Caste System, he will get more opportunity that Gerhart unless by some miracle Harbaugh in SF trades for him or a white friendly team like Indianapolis or Green Bay decides they want to bring in a great talent.</div>
 
Yeah, I was being a little sarcastic about Ingram's blistering 40 time, I guess I was carrying that over to his size. Like if someone's put at 5'10 210-215lbs., they're usually an inch shorter and 10-20lbs. lighter. He looked very short at last years Heisman Ceremony next to Gerhart.

Ijust got sick of hearing all the negativity about TG last year and to see him break 4.6 and having a better time than most of the other RB's at the combine. I think he had the 6 or 7th best time. Suggesting he become a fullback, well were the other 10-12 RB's that ran a slower time going to become fullbacks. No, they (media) only mentioned TG in that regard!

With Mark Ingram being in what appears to be alot smaller than TG, what position could he possibly play with what I consider a slow 40 for the 5'9 200lb. RB. Not a very big fullback by today's NFL standards. LOL. And how about John Clay's time 4.8, where is going offensive tackle? Ha Ha!

hes going earlier than Clarett, Ingram is practically a lock for the first round. Yes it is quite funny how things are different this year with only 2 white backs of NFL caliber, both FCS.

Also funny how the 10 yard split didn't matter with Hester, nor was Toby's 1.55 mentioned, thats almost a a tenth of a second better from the rest of his class. Not to mention Toby had a better vertical which also shows explosive ability
He definitely will be a bust if he goes in the first 2 rounds. I think he can be a good role player in a runningback by committee system. He reminds me of Pierre Thomas. Thomas was barely 200 out of college and has a similar running style with similar speed and hands. The problem is that he can't stay healthy with his running style, and I think the same will happen to Ingram. Hes never been asked to carry the full load at Alabama and still was nicked up, thats going to get worse with a 16 game schedule in the NFL. I would say hes worth a 4th rounder. The only thing he has going for him is that this is the most pathetic rb class I have ever seen. It gets worse every year.

I wonder how they would be spinning things if Gerhart had decided to go an extra year at Stanford? He would clearly be the frontrunner. Last year they had the excuse of the "scat backs" in Spiller and Best with so much "potential" with their "homerun ability". CJ Spiller had a similar number of carries as Gerhart with a long of 20, 1 yard less than Toby's season long. Best had almost 200 carries and only 3 runs over 20 yards, a 20 yarder, a 33 yarder and a 45, he was caught each time. So 0 "homeruns" for either of them.

Taiwan Jones, Eastern Washington back who is thin as a twig, didn't participate in any of the drills, expected to go in the mid rounds. Chase Reynolds couldn't even get an invite. I don't see much difference between Chase and Ingram as prospects. Like Ingram, I think Chase would be a good role player in a runningback by committee system. One will go in the first, the other one will be lucky to get a tryout.

Just wanted to hi-light this, in case anyone (includedlurkers)missed it. I saw this quote a few months ago and wanted to start a thread about it. There is no doubt what the agenda is and it's been crystal clear for almost 100 years. I guess proud race-mixers O.J. Simpsonand Charles Barkely would've been a dream come true for those Marxists back in 1912

As far as whites being allowed to play RBCarolina Speed,where are the next ones? I don't follow the draft much, but according to our Caste Foootball experts, only Chase Reynolds of Montana has a chance to be drafted and he's a real long shot? Who's up after him in the future? I don't know, perhaps Burkhead or the kid from SMU?

Also, no white RB'sended theseason onpractice squads last year -- ala Woodhead -- ready for promotion. Only other whites that could emerge are Brian Leonard or Jacob Hester types, who have not been allowed to play TB thus far, despite being high picks. Perhaps, Chad Hall is a Woodhead type, but will Andy Reid really give him a chance to play like Woody did?

Chase Reynolds and Kyle Minnett are the two this year, both are longshots to make it but are better than most of the bums being hyped up.

I have seen more people on message boards talking about getting Leonard or Hester after the success of Hillis. DWFs are waking up and realizing those guys could contribute as runningbacks. Chad Hall probably won't get a chance as long as he is with the Eagles, kind of like Amendola. Hopefully some other team picks him up and is smart enough to use him.

There are quite a few up and comers at runningback. Zach Line and Rex Burkhead look to be the most NFL ready right now, but the crazy thing is they were only sophomores last year. Wegher looked promising as a freshman but who knows what will happen now that he is at Oklahoma. Then there are guys like Sam McGuffie who would make a good 3rd down back as of right now, he has to work on his inside running though, still ran for close to 900 yards to go along with 383 receiving yards and JJ Di Luigi who would also make a good change of pace back with hopefully at least 150 to 200 touches a season in the NFL, he had 900 rushing yards and 400+ receiving yards last year. McGuffie has the most upside of all of them but the question is will he live up to it. Di Luigi is the oldest out the bunch I believe, will be a senior next season if I am not mistaken. Sam will technically be a junior next year but he sat out a year because of the transfer so I don't know if he stays the entire time. I think Joe Martinek is the only one going pro next year and looks to be screwed as of right now with talks of being transitioned to fullback. Still that is more to look forward to than previous years. Of course all of them will have to have great combines to hopefully get a chance unlike guys like Ingram.

So 6 guys coming up (not including lower divisions) with 2 that I think would make a significant impact in the NFL if they came out this year in Line and Burkhead, if they were given the opportunity of course. The only thing nerve-wracking about them being so young is fans will talk about "yeah they are productive, but I want to see *insert highly touted affletic recruit here* run the ball some." So hopefully nobody comes in and cuts into their touches because they will all need to get 1,000+ the year they come out to get a real look by the NFL.

Someone else I don't want to forget just yet is Hunter Fuhr of North Carolina. Remember he is the fastest athlete on the team and has been clocked in the 4.3 range at 6' 205lbs. Ran a 10.45 at The Nike Outdoor Nationals as a senior in high school. He's not getting much love from B. Davis right now. I'm not holding my breath,but maybe he'll get his chance in the next 2 years. He is a true junior this coming year.

Has anyone else heard anything on Hunter, he might want to look to transfer?
 
I doubt Hunter Furr will get more than a few scrap carries over the next two seasons. It would be great if all these players and their parents knew about CF and which teams might actually play White RBs. As it is, many of them are ignorant and end up in very bad situations and the only option (not usually a good one) is to transfer. They have to interrupt their playing career to do so, and it usually doesn't work out very well. I'm hoping Sam McGuffie does well this season and gets into the NFL, but if he does, he'll be one of very few exceptions.
