FS Reed Blankenship & CB Cooper Dejean

If your gonna change the NFL game for College style to get more Black QBs...then also make sure White DBs (Cornerback)get an opportunity too...some still have it ingrained in their thick skulls he's a Safety

Here is an interesting article just ran across

Yes, the Eagles get mucho credit for first recognizing and rescuing Reed Blankenship from the huuuge Caste dungheap of discarded White defensive backs and starting him, to drafting Cooper DeJean long after he should have been drafted. Philly GM Howie Roseman deserves a lot of credit, much as it may crush those who view everything through racial and ethnic blinders.

My second favorite Cooper Dejean highlight of the Super Bowl, after the pick-six, occurred almost at the end of the third quarter with the score 34-0: Patrick Mahomes had just completed a nice 40 yard pass to Xavier Worthy who had made a nice move to get open and pretty much caught the ball in stride. As the holder of the NFL combine 40 yard dash record at 4.21 headed for the end zone who caught him and made the tackle?: none other than the winner of the 2021 Class 2A Iowa State 100 meter championship.
Great point, dejean certainly looked sneaky fast on that play!

I saw that. Amazing talent and speed.

I don't know if this has been posted on this site yet but thought it was worth posting. DeJean's draft day...

Doing something spectacular in a Super Bowl, as Cooper Dejean did, has always been a way to become famous. I'm glad he scored the TD standing up.

THANKS for posting his Draft Day video! Dropped to 40th pick (2 Round) due to broken foot late in the season ; otherwise likely 1st Round pick (25th?) despite the lack of melanin.

Lebron is a blatant racist as we already know. Blankenship was standing beside DeJean as well.
There was a black dude in front of Blankenship that Lebron did not acknowledge either ...i didn't put much into that clip.
Cooper was disappointed ; but he's a champ champ! Just 22 Lebron at 40 nearly old enough to be his Dad.

Lebron loves his white team mates Luka ; Austin Reaves and Dalton Knecht.
....But well aware he's said some really stupid stuff in the past(2020) ..and ******* at post game olympics in Paris

Cooper was quite the basketballer.

Looks like another Mac McClung if he would have perused basketball instead. Hindsight is 20/20 but he likely would have been screwed over in basketball as an uber-athletic White guard dunking on everyone.

I’ll give Howie credit for giving Blankenship a chance but let’s pump the breaks before we give this guy an appreciation thread. DeJean fell in the draft and so did Shipley so it wasn’t brave or ground breaking drafting them. Even the anti-White scouting industry would have deemed them value picks so it was really a no-brainer. And then outside of the exciting White duo there were ZERO other White defenders on Howie’s kibbutz. And I’m aware that WSDT Ben VanSumeren was on IR but that would hardly change my impression. He’s an just another anti-White like 99% of NFL GMs……
