No DWF said a word when a 38 year old Eto'o was signed for a very generous contract, and not a word when he flopped miserably. But of course, why would they? They're spoon-fed 24x7 that Eto'o is the best striker in the world.

Welbeck along with Willian are now forming a new breed of 'top end' black 'attackers' whose assets are providing defensive cover and possessing a good work-rate.
Its crazy he's sold for 16m and now earns 100K per week!

Paul Pogba, the best midfielder in the world!:rip:

More DWFs waking up to the Pogba myth:

Am I Missing Something With Pogba?
I don't get these huge fees and w**kfest surrounding Pogba. I've seen him play a few times and been thoroughly unimpressed (based on the scale of the hype). He's decent player, yep and I get that Fergie let him go for free - he's worth more than that for sure, but I just don't see what the fuss is about.

I even had a look on whoscored.com to see if he was MOM every game, or scored & assisted 100+ goals the previous three seasons. Not even close - a couple of MOM and a few goals. They sum up his style of play as 'likes to dribble and commits fouls often'. He doesn't have weaknesses (although I never thought that giving away fouls was a positive).

His ratings are, well, unimpressive and I'm yet to see a site/match/explanation which offers a reason why there's so much hype.

What am I missing here?

I saw that comment too yesterday, he is absolutely correct.
Look what former manager of the French national team Domenech has to say about recent Inter Milan signings Kondogbia (€ 36m + € 4,2m/yr for 5 yrs) and Imbula (€ 1m loan with a mandatory redemption clause of € 18/19m for the next year + € 2+m/yr for 4 yrs ).
