I have been to two HS games this year and have seen a total of five whites starting. There has been a few on special teams, man this sucks. I've noticed that even the officals are mostly all black. Will have to travel to the western part of the state to see any whites.

I went to 7th grade game this weekend (my daughter is on the Pom squad). "Our" team consisted of 11 whites and 11 blacks: the starting defense was 10/11 blacks. If I'm a white player and practice 4 times a week plus a game in the oklahoma Heat, and am not allowed to play defense, I quit..

My two middle sons play rec league (Pop Warner-esque). My 10 y/o starts at OT & DE and leads his team in tackles & sacks. My youngest boy is playing his 1st year of tackle ball & learning the basics (playing OL). While their league has some 'caste adherents', there are some White kids who get reps at RB & DB.

I really hope your sons stick with football. It really does teach discipline and how to get through tough times. I am sincerely proud that they are playing and doing well. I get so depressed with i look around the stands and see groups of white boys who are trying to act black, instead of trying to play a sport.

Thanks Booth! My eldest son played when he was younger, but lost interest. He does martial arts now (& goes to the gym with me). As for pride in race & heritage, I've taught all my kids those (important) things very early.

Im watching Paramus Catholic on ESPN which is nearly all black. Blacks make up 1.3% of the population of Paramus New Jersey. That doesnt even take into account that this is an exoensive private school.
