from what i understand, for reasons realted to TV rights, the highlights of the french league will be posted on the official youtube channel ( http://www.youtube.com/user/Ligue1official/videos ) sunday at 23h 59 (french time)

the last match of the first journey, that just started:

reims vs marseille: 1-0 for marseille

-reims: 5 whites, 5 blacks and 1 arab

-marseille: 4 whites, 6 blacks and 1 from reunion (jeremy morel) (andre pierre gignac the gipsy is counted as white)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

so whithout PSG (because i no longer consider PSG a french club, they are a european club now) i counted 40% whites and 50% blacks
with PSG, i counted 42% whites and 48% blacks
(i hope i didn't make mistakes in the calculation)

so this is what ligue 1 looks like

Al Jazeera have failed to set up their own TV channels in North America so after many years of live (en direct) coverage of Ligue 1 there is no longer any proper coverage of French (or Italian or Spanish) football. Thanks to the Qatari "royal family". :icon_mad: Apparently Al Jazeera wants to dominate TV coverage until they host the World Cup in 2022. Since the Qatari "royal family" cares nothing about profits, only prestige, that means no local channels can compete. I hope the report this week about Iran planning to hit Qatar with ballistic missiles, if Syria's government collapses, is true.:clap2:

if i understand right they bought the right to show ligue 1 in america but can't broadcast it? is this even allowed?
i was surprsied to see that champions league allowed all the matches to be broadcasted by paying channels
i thought that at least a certain number of matches had to be broadcasted for free, to maintain the popularity of the competition
but now no matches are available for free, no champions league, no french league (i never saw a ligue 1 match for free on TV anyway, it was on "canal plus" before) no foreign league

BeIn Sport owned by Al Jazeera (ie Qatar government) first had to get a licence from a government body to be allowed to broadcast - which it must have done - then it makes separate deals with each of the satellite and cable companies based on how much value each thinks the channel is worth. The more popular the channel the more the satellite/cable companies will pay to carry the channel with advertising revenue shared. To cut a long story short the Emir of Qatar is desperate to get his channel on the air as everyone knows this channel is all about promoting Qatar, not making a profit, and AJ have already spent millions and millions on broadcast rights, commentator and technical staff contracts, etc, so the cable/satellite companies, knowing that Qatar's investment will be worthless if they don't make a deal, are trying to squeeze a few million more out of Qatar by offering horrible conditions ((eg no subscription money and very little advertising revenue for first year). Al Jazeera don't think this is fair so they are trying to hold out for a better deal but I think they'll have to give in. The cable/satellite companies have Qatar over a barrel.

In the meantime AJ are offering an online pay channel to watch French, Spanish, and Italian leagues. This weekend it was free for promotional purposes. But the quality of the stream was so bad it was unwatchable so very few people who tried it this weekend will be willing to pay for an online subscription.

In the end AJ will either give in and accept a horrible deal to get the channel on the air or they will sell ("sublicense") some of their matches to channels that already exist, such as ESPN or GolTV. Either way, it's all a mess. This is typical of Gulf Arab states. They walk in and try to buy everything and everybody without proper planning.

The way things worked in the UK was that ITV (similar to TF1) got the first choice of matches each week with the rest going to pay channels like Sky. ITV almost always chose a Man United or Chelsea match but would also have highlight rights to all the other matches which they would show after the late night news. But it varies year to year with UEFA trying to get more money without moving the big matches to pay TV.

it was exactly the same way in france except that instead of watching manchester or chelsea we got to watch lyon or marseille :eyebrows:
that's why i always hoped that the french teams get kicked out early in the competition so i could watch real teams with talented players, and with more than 3 white players
but it can change, now in france everything is on pay channels

tomorow will be played the first match with our new coach didier deschamps, a friendly vs uruguay

in the first match with laurent blanc as our new coach, the first thing he did and the only thing worth mentionning from that bad match (france had a very black team) is that he put a central defense with no black defender, because of the humiliation we suffered at the 2010 world cup

didier deschamps stated that having a solid defense is fundamental, so he should keep a defense with no blacks, but this is a friendly match and koscielny our best central defender is injuried...so we will have 2 black central defenders :undecided: (there are other missing players like menez who is suspended)

but the good thing is that what seems to be the most important thing to change in his mind after the euro champs is to have giroud as a main striker
he will start the match, with benzema behind him, in a more defensive position

the team will have 6 whites, 1 arab, and 4 blacks

Lloris – Debuchy, Yanga-Mbiwa, Sakho, Evra – Valbuena, Gonalons, Mavuba, Ribéry - Giroud, Benzema

important thing to note: valbuena gets to play with didier deschamps, he could be an important player in his system

it's annoying to see evra still there while he has been exposed multiple times, and after a bad match vs england in the euro champs he was no longer a titular
this man must have done a deal with the devil, he gets exposed and loses his place in the starting 11 but keeps coming back
that's because fullback is a black position and our other fullback is white (debuchy) so we HAVE to play with a black fullback (and a black defensive middle fielder ofcourse) because otherwise jeremy mathieu is very good and should be titular

gonalons plays also, he never really got an oportunity to play under laurent blanc

unfortunately when it comes to non-black central defenders we don't have much depth

our central defenders are koscielny (he's the best french central defender currently): injuried
the arab rami: injuried
and mexes is totally out of shape, nobody knows what he will do next season

so when these are not here, it's time for the useless black defenders from french ligue 1 to play:
http://www.security-tshirts.com/media/00/a20791912a95a214a63f64_m.jpg

too bad that uruguay was on vacations and didn't try anything, so they didn't score any goals
forlan has only 5 goals scored in friendlies out of his 33 goals for the national team, so i knew that he was not going to play 100%

The all-black defense kept Uruguay from scoring. Mexes was absolutely dreadful during Euro 2012, and Reveillere was subpar. France has had some excellent world-class black defenders Don't forget that Desailly, Thuram, Gallas, Makelele, and Abidal were among some of the best in the business.

The all-black defense kept Uruguay from scoring.

calm down, it was only a pre-season friendly match

Mexes was absolutely dreadful during Euro 2012, and Reveillere was subpar.

france's defence at euro 2012, whithout black defenders, was the best we had in a long time
mexes did ok
and reveillere didn't play at the euro 2012, he just played against spain in a totally new position (both reveillere and debuchy at the same time)
so maybe you should stick about what you know

France has had some excellent world-class black defenders Don't forget that Desailly, Thuram, Gallas, Makelele, and Abidal were among some of the best in the business.

abidal was an over-rated clown, only in your mind he's one of the best ever
he was exposed at the 2010 world cup

thuram, by the word of his coach in the french national team, aimé jaquet (who won the 1998 world cup) had "square feet" (very unskilled)
his most famous match was when he miraculously scored the 2 only goals he ever scored for france against croatia in the semi-final
everybody was surprised because he is so unskilled that he could'nt score any goals
what fewer people remember is that the croatian goal in this match came from one of his mistakes

gallas? who is this guy? the one who was bashed by everybody after the 2010 world cup? the man who was a central defender yet he couldn't head a ball? this black clown? right, one of the bests in the world

makelele when he played in france was an offensive middlefielder, totally unskilled, he was frequently mocked by his own fans
he was created in spain, because the spanish clubs need some black players so they can say "hey, we're not racist, look, we have a black fullback/defensive middlefielder!"
don't you notice the pattern? every black french defender, when he played in a big club, was either defensive middlfielder or fullback: makelele, the multiple diarra at madrid, angloma, abidal, ect
that's because they put them in the biggest distance possible from the goal, so that their mistakes are not too costly for the team

desailly was just know for his physique, nicknamed "the rock"
the only real big club in which he played, he was used as.....surprise surprise, a defensive middlefielder! while he is a central defender!

Here's an article about the TV coverage situation in the US thanks to Al Jazeera. It's mostly about leagues other than the French but it's the same situation for Ligue 1. So far only DirecTV and DISH Network subscribers will have TV access to matches.

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/la-liga-serie-vanish-many-075912398--sow.html

al jazeera also forced the french league to play the second division matches friday at 18h30
that means that most people won't have enough time to go to the stadium after work, so the suporters are angry and want to boycott the second division

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

gourcuff was being praised in the french press after his very good start of the season (he scored the only goal of his team in the opening match):

but 10 minutes in the second game, he gets a knee injury

a proof that there are untold quotas in soccer:

http://www.rtl.fr/actualites/sport/...un-arriere-droit-jeune-et-francais-7751726559

ancelotti (PSG coach) said that he wants to buy a fullback, but that he is only interested in buying a french fullback

this would be great, don't mistake my intention, i would love to see only french players in the league

but what he does is not motivated by the same reason
he doesn't care about french players, he built a world class team with foreign players from all around the world (mainly europe and south america) and obviously he would like to have a team with 0 french players in it

the only reason why he wants a french fullback (who will probably be black since most french players are blacks) is because there is an untold quota about local players (french in this case, but also german, english, italian, spanish, ect)
it probably has to do with the image of the club and the image of the league

notice that he wants french FULLBACKS, he also wants french defensive middlefielders, but he doesn't want french strikers or french central defenders
that's what the biggest clubs and the most intelligent clubs do

there is, obviously, a similar untold quota for non-south american blacks
it is obvious, most non-southamerican blacks bought by the biggest european clubs (that are usually mostly white, atleast their starting 11) are defensive middlefielders or fullbacks

for example barcelona bought the talented spanish from valencia jordi alba (who was born in catalunya by the way, so that's another local player for them) to replace abidal
it was obvious that abidal was in the team because he was the mandatory non-southamerican black, and ofcourse he played as a fullback

now, since they no longer have a mandatory non-south american black in their starting 11, they are trying very hard to buy alex song from arsenal (why would they need him? there is no reason to want him other than having a non-south american black in the team)

acually, i just saw that barcelona actually signed him, so it's done, he will be barcelona's black defensive middlefielder

(the reason why they want black fullbacks and black defensive middlefielders is because these are the less important positions today, and also the physique is more important in these positions)

last year it was widely accepted that montpellier was a one-man team, with olivier giroud scoring more goals than anyone in the league, and very important goals, also being the player with the most assists in the club, 4th in the league, and being very usefull on the defensive free-kicks

but in the 11 best players of ligue 1, there were still 3 players other than giroud from montpellier
some players were very highly rated, like belhanda and mapou yanga mbiwa (many "top" european clubs want him)

now giroud is gone, and as expected montpellier is nothing special this year, their season will be a nightmare
so far they played 3 matches: they lost 2 and did a draw: 1 point so far
they are 18th out of 20

this proves that montpellier's non-white players were actually nothing special

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

meanwhile, as expected, paris saint germain plays against disgusting teams which don't even try to play football, with usually 8-7 blacks starters
they played against ajaccio, and ajaccio's coach had a funny but sad quote:
before the match someone asked him how he planned to neutralize paris saint germain's "christmas tree" (because PSG's formation looks like a christmas tree: http://aworldoffootball.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Tactique-PSG-Ancelotti1.jpg )
and he answered "PSG will be a christmas tree, then we are going to be a cactus"

then bordeaux had 8 black starters out of 11, and the coach said that he was there to play very defensively
and when a ligue 1 coach says that, you have probably no idea what it means, it means that they don't plan to play football at all, in france we say that ligue 1 is not football anymore, we joke about it saying that we invented a new sport
it involves repeatedly shooting the ball outside of the field so you have multiple throw-ins for example, because there can be no danger from throw-ins

the french league's mediocrity is more obvious than ever thanks to PSG

remember what i said here before the league started:
anyway the oposition is weak in ligue 1 and what you will probably see will be teams that will play like chelsea did against barcelona during the last champions league, but with more blacks and less talented (maybe in a few seasons it will be different if ligue 1 becomes more popular in europe )

PSG will win, but it's not going to be pretty

the new list of the french players that will play the first qualifying matches to the 2014 world cup (against finland and bielorussia)

goal keepers: lloris, mandanda, and landreau
landreau gets called because of his recent very good performances with lille:

his latest match
lloris (white) is the undiscuted titular

defenders: clichy, evra, jallet, reveillere, koscielny, rami, sakho, yanga mbiwa
so we have 2 blacks for the left back position (evra and clichy), 2 whites for the right back position (reveillere and jallet), and then the 2 central defenders must be koscielny (white, undiscuted titular) and rami (arab)
the 2 black central defenders shouldn't play (sakho and mbiwa), or if they play because of fitness problems espacially from rami, we will be in trouble

middlefielders:
there are the black defensive middlefielders: capoue, abou diaby, matuidi, mavuba: i think that there are too many
then gonalons, cabaye (1/4 asian but counted as white), valbuena
didier deschamps might play with 2 defensive middle fielders since there are so many in the list

forwards: benzema (arab) giroud (white) menez and ribery (whites) and then gomis (black) who shouldn't play at all

so that's 11 white players out of 23, slightly under 50% but artificially brought down by the incredible amount of defensive middlefielders in the team (4 blacks and 1 white, gonalons)
so the french national team is way whiter than the french league (there were a majority of black starters in the breakdown of the national league)
it used to be the oposite before the quotas scandal

the only blacks that might play would be the defensive middlefielders and the left fullbacks
i really hope that deschamps won't play with a black central defender instead of rami, that would be a huge mistake

I was reading about the recall of Abou Diaby on a sports app. One of the commenters on the app said France needed "real Frenchman" on the team as Africans will never be patriotic enough to play hard for France. Needless to say all the following commenters attacked the poster for racism; one even threatened to kill him!

Needless to say all the following commenters attacked the poster for racism; one even threatened to kill him!

lately an interview with benzema surfaced where ha said that algeria was his real country, that he played for france only because it's a better team
then in the latest match with the french national team they were paying a tribute to thierry roland who died recently (a commentator, i mentionned his death before, he commented all the world cups since 1962, he is a legend in france)
there were thierry roland's wife and son
benzema refused to pay tribute to him (probably because thierry roland was famous for his xenophobic and sometimes racist comments)
everybody in france was really shocked by this, and benzema's popularity in france dropped a lot because of this

diaby is a muslim and he prays before the match, nowadays no frenchmen want to see this
they prefer blacks like mavuba, who are more patriotic and humble
then there are the white defensive middle fielders who will not be called like toulalan, balmont, bodmer
these players deserve to be called but defensive middle fielder is a black position
mathieu bodmer: http://vimeo.com/39329505#at=0
what a wasted talent
by the way i saw his wife and she's white (i was afraid that he would be a new ribery)

same for the fullbacks, jeremy mathieu deserves to be called but he won't be called

in the future gomis wil be replaced by gignac i think
notice that ben arfa wasn't called, nasri either (i don't know if nasri is injuried, but ben arfa is not and he wasn't called)

lille vs paris saint germain: 1-2 for paris saint germain

-paris saint germain: 8 whites, 2 blacks, 1 brazilian mestizo

-lille: 6 whites, 5 blacks

very important win for PSG against perhaps the seconde best french team, in lille
2 goals scored by ibrahimowicz

they were totally dominant but lille scored on a corner kick because of sakho (black central defender)

Morgan Schneiderlin scored a goal for Southampton. He's played for France as a youth international at various age levels. He's not black so I doubt he will be given the change to play for the senior team.

i'm very sad that i have to post this about PSG, because the club was very exciting especially for a french club, but i lost a lot of respect for ancelotti (PSG's italian coach) now

PSG gave it's roster for the champions league, and diego lugano is not in it
here is diego lugano:

he came to the club last year
he was at this point one of the best defenders in the world, officially top 10 and maybe better than that because he was under-rated because he never played in europe
here is the list of the 100 top football players in the world, in which lugano is included: http://blogs.thescore.com/footyblog...n-the-world-the-complete-list-including-10-1/ (which was posted on this forum thanks to irnbru i think)
(it's a joke to have kompany so high on the list because the best defence in premier league was liverpool last season - they were the team that had less goals scored against them most of the season despite being much less dominant than manchester city and manchester united, and kompany plays in a national team which is inferior to armenia despite having top players playing in every top club in europe
and manchester city was humiliated in champions league too, manchester united too)

in each club he played for, he was loved by the fans
he is a living god in brazil, so popular that many brazilians suport uruguay because of him
nobody in brazil and in uruguay understands why he doesn't plays in PSG

here are the central defenders that took lugano's place in the champions league team, and also in the french league because so far lugano didn't play a single match this year:

*tiago silva: he didn't play a single minute because he's not ready, but he's the second best defender PSG have after lugano
he's titular for the brazilian national team
but if you give brazilians the choice between tiago silva and lugano they would prefer lugano to play for brazil

*alex (former cheslea player): he's pretty good, but he's way inferior to lugano
he's not part of the brazilian national team

*sakho: he's a clown which was exposed last season, he is the main reason why PSG lost the title last year, and i'm afraid that if he keeps playing PSG won't win any titltes this year...once again
the match in which PSG lost the title was a match vs lille, in which sakho offered a penalty and was catastrophic: http://www.leparisien.fr/psg-foot-p...du-mal-a-s-en-remettre-30-04-2012-1978456.php
he was also clownish in the opening match vs lorient: http://rutube.ru/video/0577347bf5f3c8b1245a41aade8ddb3c/ and he lost his place in the french national team (as a substitute) because he was awful in each match he played
yet this season he's titular...i have no longer any respect for carlo ancelotti
central defense is the most important part of any teams, he learned it the hard way last year by losing the title, now he doesn't seems to have learnt his lesson

*zoumana camara: i won't even comment on this

guess what: the main complaint about diego lugano in france was that he was too slow ( http://www.castefootball.us/forums/threads/15048-speed-is-irrelevant-in-soccer)
well, he's fast enough to be titular and captain, as well as most important player, in a national team that's ranked 3rd in the FIFA ranking, having reached the semi finals of the 2010 world cup and won the latest copa america
even tiago silva isn't as accomplished as him

lugano is so important for uruguay that he's still titular in the national team while he never plays in his club

benjamin corgnet finally comes back to first division (his team was relegated)

he was transfered to lorient
he is very highly rated in france

he has a very unique story: he didn't went to any training ground of by clubs because he was focused on his medical studies

OMG, against finland for the qualifications for the 2014 world cup france will play with sakho and mapou yanga mbiwa as central defenders.....2 black clowns
koscielny and rami are not ready and i don't know what mexes is doing right now
well, i'll root for finland :mmph:

we'll have very few whites for that match

edit: it gets even worse as giroud is not ready either....it will be unwatchable

the expected team for the match : Lloris - Réveillère, Yanga-Mbiwa, Sakho, Evra - Diaby, Mavuba, Cabaye - Ménez, Benzema, Ribéry

5 whites, 1 arab, and 5 blacks
