Forrest vs Jackson

Jackson was picked up by the police again today. Someone called and asked the police to talk to him because he was 'acting funny and saying weird things.' The police questioned Jackson, who was cooperative the entire time, and determined that he needed to be evaluated. Jackson agreed to go with the police and he is now being held in 'mental health detention.'

Shogun, is it possible this ismerely a ruse to avoid a lengthy jail sentence?

Shogun, is it possible this is merely a ruse to avoid a lengthy jail sentence?

Yes, that is being suggested on some of the MMA boards.

Rampage does not have a "God Complex" in my humble opinion. Something is going on here, I just don't know what it is.

Why would you say that he doesn't?

Maybe Rampage does have some sort of mental illness or something. That is certainly possible. He still seems like a well "meaning" guy to me. It's not like he took out a gun and tried to rob a person or shoot a person he didn't like.

Bart this didn't ruin our "But I really like this "negro" thread. I do know some "negros" that I like. I worked with a real nice "negro" at the food company I was employed at in Canada and hung out with him several times. He was a real nice guy and well educated too.

I actually had a conversation with this "negro" about the stereotyping of white football players once and mentioned Tre Smith, Dustin Fox and others and got him to agree with me that there is some unfairness there. I guess what I am trying to say is they shouldn't be labeled as arbitrary "negros" who are all no good, they are people.

Remember I said it was my humble opinion. I think it's a legal ploy and not a illness. If he has a God Complex, why is he endangering people on the road by driving recklessly and doing a hit and run? More like a Devil Complex if anything.

But seriously, I have seen and heard Rampage enough times to think that unless he has started using drugs that this is just a excuse and not a illness. I could be wrong about it. Maybe he has a new mental illness called "getting punked out by a cartoonish looking whiteman". I still somewhat like Rampage but I still hope he sees prison time over this, the charges are too serious. He probably won't see any time though.

I read that Rampage started a fast consisting of water and energy drinks right after the fight. They're saying he has had mental issues that revolved around religion in the past, but who knows if these rumors are true - I certainly don't.

There was a pregnant woman injured during Rampage's rampage, so the charges against him are felonies. We'll see what happens.

I didn't know about the pregnant woman. Wow, he's in even more trouble than I thought.

And the funny thing; Forrest Griffin the guy who beat him right before this big arrest in the fight was a former cop. Beat that devil Forrest...Just kidding of course.Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

Glad you got a laugh out of it. I have no idea where this Rampage story goes from here, time will tell. I hope this didn't happen because he was embarrassed to lose to Forrest, Because there is no shame in losing to Griffith, he has truly established himself as a elite fighter and now a champion.

Hey Aragorn

i don't know what's up with Rampage either. personally, i like the guy. i had the chance to meet him in person once, while he was training at the Body Shop in Lakewood CA. my buddy Tracy and his friend Antonio own it. he's a really funny guy. i was sitting watching my buddy instruct his students and Rampage sat down next to me. he said "hi" so i said "hi" back. then i looked at him more closely and i realized it was Rampage. so i said, "hey aren't you Rampage Jackson?" then he gave me an angry look and said, "man how come everybody thinks all black people look the same??!!" i was like, "dude what the heck are you talking about???" then he started laughing and said, "im just f**king with you man, i'm Quentin, nice to meet you." i started laughing. later on i told Tracy the story and he told me Rampage is always joking around like that. my first impression was a good one.

i don't know what the heck is going on now. the whole god complex thing makes no sense to me. i mean anything is possible but he just didnt strike me as "crazy" in any way. well i just hope he doesn't get special treatment for being a celebrity, and i hope his punishment makes him a better person in the future.

cheers

Johnnyboy..I agree with that sentiment. Rampage is a funny and personable guy but what he did there is no excuse for. I hope he gets the punishment that's coming and then the help that he needs. I don't want his life to be ruined over this. It probably won't be, he's got alot of powerful friends he can turn too if he doesn't burn too many bridges.
