Floyd is treading dangerous waters here. If he fought Manny again, his "0" would be seriously threatened, whereas if Manny loses no one will hold it against him too much because he's a politician now and has other stuff going on. Floyd was, is, and always will be an overemotional, dramatic attention seeker with little man's syndrome and he's probably broke and looking for another Connor McGregor-like payday.

That would be cool is Manny says "I'm not going to fight you in the ring, but let's fight in the alley outside."

With at least a 100 million to divide and suckers willing to buy it. Why not. Mayweather knows he would get killed today by any top fighter in the 147 / 154 lbs ranks. He can fight Manny knowing his chances of getting KTFO are remote.

Floyd has been cherry picking opponents for years, it's the purse size vs risk of losing getting the KTFO ratio. Fighting older blown up guys such as himself the risk of KTFO factor is bare minimal so if the purse is fat enough to tempt his fate then he will do the fight.

PS I remember Sugar Ray Leonard was shrewd as well late in his career and chose a "faded" Tommy Hearns to earn an easy fat purse and had to go balls to the wall in the last round and "earn" a Las Vegas draw( a close loss anywhere else).

You can go to the well one time too often and have nothing left, also Manneee has been active and didn't look totally shot in his last fight so anything could be possible.....

Manny's right hand was busted, if I remember correctly, during their first fight. He was highly limited. A Pacquiao that's a few years older with a strong right hand against an older Mayweather may finally spell doom for Floyd. I'm hoping so.

The Nevada Athletic commission aka the Floyd Mayweather Athletic commission wouldn't allow Manneee to take a painkilling shot in the hand, but allowed Floyd to use IV's "because of dehydration". They might as well of said if the fight is close Floyd will be spotted 3 rounds in a 12 round fight......

Such a shame. "Little man" Mayweather will get another 100 million dollar payday while GGG is fighting for "chump" change at 4 million with Canelo. Another snooze fest with little man running the whole fight.

No way they get paid as much this time as they did the first time. For one thing, even the dumb general public would never pay $100 to see these two fight eachother again.

No GGG is getting an extra digit on that number. He makes roughly 2.5 million to fight run of the mill top ten guys he isn't fighting PEDnelo for that can kind of money.

From what I have read the boxing experts are predicting a 100 million dollar pie divided 57.5 for PEDnelo and 42.5 million for GGG.

Yes Floyd could ask for the minimum of what he made for Maneee I, but what would be left over for Maneee. Maneee has every orphan, homeless beggar and an entourage that would dwarf what Elvis and Ali had to feed in the Phillipines ......

Gayfeather isn't even reaching beyond the desk where he signs the contract to fight the equivalent of a metrosexual Japanese jockey. He is taking on a boxing novice who is roughly 20 pounds less than him, who is a star kick boxer. At least Connor was the naturally larger man.

I don't even think the typical wigger, hardcore black nationalist is dumb enough to buy this fight at 69.99 to 99.99, but the stupidity of the Gayfeather fan never ceases to amaze me......http://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/...ther-schedules-bout-rizin-fighting-federation

The biggest market for Mayweather are Mexicans that want to see him lose. Nobody's buying this squash match. I doubt it will even have kickboxing rules.

People might buy it if they knew the Japanese fellow could kick the hell out of those little stick legs of Mayweather. But we all know he isn't going to put himself in a situation to take any real damage as it will be boxing only. Complete joke of a fight and I wish he would finally just fade away into non existence. Fight sports have entered a strange world the last few years. People seem to care less about records, titles or belts. They just want spectacles and crazy personalities.

Just as McGregor would have destroyed “Prettymouth” in an MMA bout (or street fight), this jap would take “Gayfeather” apart in a kickboxing match. Similarly, pro wrestler Paul “Big Show” Wight would have easily slaughtered “BOYd” in a legit fight...whereas “Gayfeather” ‘KO’d’ Big Show (in the “sports entertainment” world).

Gayfeather literally toyed with the novice Japanese opponent and was allegedly paid an obscene 88 million US?? Here is this mismatch that wouldn't be sanctioned by any legitimate regulatory board........

That is utterly absurd! Nobody is worth that kind of money for participating in a “sporting event”.
