Fedor has a dangerous guard, so I could see him catching Brock in an armbar or triangle choke if Lesnar became overzealous in the G&P. I'd give Brock the edge on size, raw power & wrestling, but Fedor the edge on striking (heavier hands), submissions/ground game, experience and ring intelligence.

I was very impressed with Fedor's performance.  Supposedly Rogers just opened up some scar tissue on Fedor's nose and that's why he was bleeding.  The announcers were making it out like Fedor was finished at that point.

Yeah, Gus Johnson and the others were openly rooting for Rogers. At one point in the 2nd round, Fedor had Rogers against the cage and was nailing him with some punches, and Johnson claimed that they were all blocked. Bullsh*t! I saw at least five or six punches land in that flurry. I think Johnson is getting tired of seeing Black men getting their asses beat by White men. He looked utterly distraught after the Abraham-Taylor fight.

I also thought it was funny that he said "Cabrini Green" at the exact moment Rogers got KO'd. He was like, "Cabrini Greeeeen!!"

Fedor did what he always does. He gets in a little bit of trouble against typically much bigger, stronger men, and then, in a blink of an eye, it's over. Randleman drops him on his head, 30 seconds later, Randleman's tapping. Arlovksi outboxes him for 4+ minutes, boom, it's over. That Japanese guy punches him in the temple and he loses his legs for a moment, Fedor gets through it. He always finds a way to get it done.

I know what you are talking about with the punches against the cage.  It was right before the knockout I believe.  Rogers did block some but a few slipped through.

Listen, guys like Rogers and Lessner can barely play checkers, while Fedor is a chess master. It's the mind, the mind, the mind. They bring a hammer and a crowbar to the fight, Fedor brings a big toolbox. He'll always figure a way to beat these guys who rely on brute force.

I could tell that Rogers had the strength advantage in this fight but that is expected of a guy who weighs 30 pounds more.

El Hock, Fedor is indeed the master & best MMA fighter ever, but Brock would tear Rogers' head off. Brock wouldn't KO him, but would shoot on him...take him to the mat & pound his ugly mug into mush. Rogers isn't on Brock's level, BUT Lesnar's not on Fedor's level (no one is).

Yeah, Dixie, I can see Lessnar taking Rogers to the mat and finishing him quickly. Lesner does have that wrestling background.

As a matter of fact, Lesnner/Rogers would be a very interesting fight for comparison purposes.Edited by: The Hock

Lesnar is bigger, stronger, quicker & has top notch wrestling. His functional strength is off the charts & he moves like a welterweight. I don't think he'd try to stand with Rogers at all, nor do I see Brett stopping Brock's shots. I can envision Brock getting side control or being in half-guard & smashing "The Grim's" face into the mat.
