I don't follow bodybuilding like I did back in the 90s, but I was curious who're you fella's favorite bodybuilders & strongmen are? Here's mine...

Bodybuilders : Reg Park, Arnold, Lou Ferrigno, Dorian Yates & Gunter Schlierkamp.

Strongmen : Arthur Saxon, Paul Anderson, Bill Kazmaier, Gerritt Badenhorst, Magnús Ver Magnússon & Mariusz Pudzianowski.

Bodybuilder would have to be Arnold. I think he's the best bodybuilder of all time. As far as strongmen go my favorite is Mariusz Pudzianowski. I also like Jarek Dymek and Sebastian Wenta. I have to stick to my Polish boys.

Dave Ostlund (from Minnesota)
Mischa (Russia)

There's a young Viking from Iceland that I like, but he has kind of gotten fat.

Two body builders from the 70's are among my favorites. Drave Draper"The Blond Bomber" and Mike Mentzer . Before ultra hardcore roiding took over bodybuilding Sergio Olivia had supposedly the best biceps ever and Tom Platz had the craziest legs ever. Now of course those two would be near normal men at a Mr Olympia competition.

I don't keep up on this freak show contestant for men with all the outright juicing involved but the guy who had a great physic had to be Frank Zane. He appeared devoid of roids!

That's true! But if you cut out bodybuilding over roids! than you have a lot more sports to cut out.......

I watched the 2009 WSM finals the other night on ESPN2. Brian Shaw is a hoss, and him & I have similar builds (we're both 6'8...but he's got a good 40+ lbs on me). Kaz & the other commentator were speaking on Shaw's athletic ability (a former college basketball player @ Black Hills State). They also said they look for Shaw to be a WSM champion in years to come (he finished 3rd in '09).

Shaw is very vocal against PEDs, so his build, power & performance is natural. He sports 22.8" arms & a 59" chest. Here are his max lifts...

* Leg press max weight: 2000 lb
* Bench press max weight: 525 lb
* Squat max: 800 lb
* Dead lift max: 880 lb
