I dont really care for Barry Bonds, or Jackie Robinson. Both EXTREMELY overrated because they are black.
I don't have a problem with Jackie Robinson. He was never arrogant or surly in his demeanor. By all accounts he acted "white" The only problem I have is with the worship that he's given in order to instill white guilt into baseball's fan base. The league wide retiring of the #42 and the Jackie Robinson days where every player wears #42 is just overkill. There were players much better than Robinson. Not even the greatest player of all time, Babe Ruth receives such an honor. You can thank spineless PC commissioner Bud Selig for all this nonsense.
Oil Can Boyd,
Oil Can Boyd,.. every time I hear that name, I can't help but laugh as he was the idiot that was cracking open the champagne bottles when the Red Sox had only 1 out to go to win the 1986 World Series.
RGT,
In Oil Can's defense.. He is an admitted crackhead. Even claiming that he smuggled and wore a rock (under his cap) out onto the mound at one point, & smoking before starts...
good times.
