German Steffen Kretschmann 14-1(13) will try to avenge his only defeat on March 27. He'll face Russian Denis Bakhtov 32-5(21) who stopped him in one.

Russian Maxim Maslov 10-0-1(7) will face Adnan Buharalija 20-7-2(14) on March 20 in Estonia.

Russian Magomed Abdusalamov 6-0(6) will face Kenyan Raymond Ochieng 20-9-3(17) in Moscow on February 6.

Brit David Price 4-0(3) is scheduled to return in March. His opponent TBA.

Unbeaten heavyweight Edmund Gerber (10-0, 7 KOs) surprisingly crushed Rene Dettweiler (25-3, 12 KOs) in round two. The bout was waved off by referee Ingo Barabas after Dettweiler was savaged by a series of right hands that sent him crashing to the deck. Time was :41.

That's amazing. Dettweiler has never been stopped before, or as far as I know, even been down in a fight.

It took heavyweight banger Magomed Abdusalamov (7-0, 7 KOs) just 84 seconds to completely demolish hugely overmatched Kenyan Raymond Ochieng (20-10-3, 17 KOs) in what turned to be a horrible mismatch. Ochieng was floored three times after looping right hands and showed no will and no ability to resist Abdusalamov's powerful onslaught. The Dagestani is yet to see the second round.

In what was advertised as the main event of the evening, Uzbek stylist Timur Ibragimov (27-2-1, 15 KOs) acquired a vacant IBA intercontinental heavyweight title with the third-round stoppage of Tanzanian Awadh Tamim (11-2, 6 KOs). Tamim was down three times before the bout was stopped by referee Jon Schorle.

I like this matchup.

It's always good for the younger boxers to fight experienced former contenders. Whitaker is about 6" taller than Fedosov, so it will be interesting to see how he deals with that.

Looks like Pulev pulled out. I wonder if he's injured?
