group D:ukraine and england will go to the next round

I think it'll be Sweden and France. (Rooney might miss ALL the group stage matches due to suspension).

It was kind of funny when Russians in the audience started to cheer. Obviously they think they got the easiest group. I agree. Group A might the weakest group at any Euro or World Cup for quite some time.

i agree, that's why i said france was unpredictable , i don't know who would win between france and england
mainly because i don't know who will play for france

but i don't think sweden will be dangerous, they only have ibrahimowicz, i see nobody exept him (maybe i'm wrong, i don't follow their team , they make me want to puke usually)
and ukraine will be my favorite for this tournament
it's still early, but i see some good things going on in their team
we'll see

Wayne Rooney's suspension has been reduced from three to two matches. So he will be available for England's match against Ukraine. That could mean two matches for legendary striker Emil Heskey.

Republic of Ireland - 6 (possibly more): Jonathan Walters (English-born, Irish-born mother), Sean St Ledger (English-born, Irish heritage), James McCarthy (Scottish-born, family links to Ireland), Leon Best (English-born, family connection to Ireland), Paul Green (English-born, eligible due to family status within Ireland), Caleb Folan (English-born, family members' connection). It has to be acknowledged that these are not necessarily clearcut cases of opportunism, as most of the players in question do have Irish roots.

Just wait 15 years or so and we will be seeing black "Irish" players who were born in Ireland, not just the occasional one from England with an Irish parent.

I hope you are joking. Hopefully, England will have at least 7 white starters when Rooney plays. Maybe A Cole can be replaced by Baines.

i thought it was a joke too
in the exact same role as heskey, both andy caroll and peter crough are 10 times better

but in my opinion england will have to play with young from manchester united, unfortunately
i looked the english national team on wikipedia, and they have no white strikers outside of crouch, andy caroll and rooney, but these are definitely the better english strikers

i think england might also play with smalling as a right back, what a joke
he is a bad central defender, but as a right back, he is...well...he's not a right back

phil jones is promising as central defender, capello seems to like him too
