PS: that's where Travis McGriff is (along with Chris Doering)

I saw the pics of him sighing autographs. What a waste of talent, and slap in the face to him. I just hope he understands, the way we do, why he was screwed and never blossomed in the NFL. If he doesn't see it, then he is just as blind as he rest of the sheep in this country.

no, McGriff wasn't injured, but he did suffer from an apparently debilitating skin condition that ruins careers for wide receivers, running backs and defensive backs...

Yeah Chitwood, I know. McGriff also seems to be suffering from another disease that has left him "vertically challenged"...a.k.a. too short to play in the NFL. However, black reciever, Steve Smiff is the same height, and yet he is allowed to play all he wants. Mysteriously enough, these rare and incurable diseases seem to only affect the Caucasian species. Maybe Sheila Vapid-Breathless and Kyle Brown-Nose from the "Corporate Sports Report" could enlighten us about the topic a bit more.

i think some of them might not even realize what's going on, they probably bought into this whole black athlete's superiority lie.

i just hope that Dustin will actually get on Buffalo's squad and eventually play as a starting cornerback. it's been, what, 7, 8 years since Sehorn started at CB for the Giants?

If there are quotas for colleges and jobs, how do people not suspect there might be a quota for the NFL? My friend worked for the NFL for a summer internship. He said it was loaded with unqualified blacks. They had to interview at least 2 blacks for every managerial position.

Mike's Myspace Castefootball page has over 100 D-1 white college football players as "friends." I think many are aware, but tow the line. There is a double standard in America and people are afraid of being called a racist.

I haven`t seen much news about Dustin Fox in this year`s camp. Does he have much of a chance to make the team as a backup CB?

Also, do we have any whites playing CB in camps other than Dustin and Steve Gregory?

RIght now he's listed as the 4th string LCB. He has had a pretty good camp on special teams and defense, from what I've read. We'll see if he makes the 75 man cut by tomorrow.

It's a little off subject but watching the preseason games the thing that has struck me is how many teams have multiple white d-backsplaying in the second half. I've noticed no white tailbacks fighting for a roster spot, and very few white WRs, but there's a bunch of white safeties out there on the fringes of the league. The vast majority of them will be purged as they are every NFL season, but if you watch games notice how often they make the tackle or are very close to doing so. That's the hallmark of the white defensive player -- almost always over-represented when it comes to making tackles, always under-represented on the roster.

I hope so Col. Reb, but I just have a feeling the numbers game is going to get him in Buffalo. There has to be a place for him on a roster somewhere, though.

I don`t see him as a starter in the NFL, but surely he is good enough to be one of the guys to fit in as a 3rd/4th corner in a 32-team league.

Don,

Since we are on the subject of very few whites at WR(return men included), have you seen Jeremy Bloom get any chances with the Steelers this preseason? I can`t seem to find anything about him, even at the PG site.

Van Slyke, I didn't notice him in their game against the Vikings. They signed Eddie Drummond recently, who's a kick return specialist, so I'm assume Bloom is toast, at least with the Steelers. They are going very black under the new Tomlin regime -- Big Ben, a couple of TEs, the two starting DEs, and very little else.

Thanks, backrow. I just saw the link on the PG site.

Will he give up on football and go back to skiing with the Winter Games in Vancouver in 2010?

Anyway, here`s hoping that Dustin Fox makes it somewhere as a CB this year.

Bills add DB Dustin Fox to practice squad
http://timesunion.com/AspStories/story.asp?storyID=738802

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Defensive back Dustin Fox is back with the Buffalo Bills after being signed to the team's practice squad Wednesday.

Fox, who was released by Buffalo before the start of this season, appeared in the Bills' final five games last season after spending eight weeks on the practice squad. He's an Ohio State product who was selected by Minnesota in the third round of the 2005 draft but spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve.

Fox also appeared in one game with Philadelphia in 2006.

To make room on their squad, the Bills released offensive lineman Chris Denman.

Very true, why was there such a need to replace one of the 2 white CBS in the entire league? It was as if they wanted to force Fox out the door with crappy rookie draft picks, b/c Fox caused dysfunction by not fitting in. They drafted that one McKelvin guy in the first round, so he was obviously gonna make the team. But why in the world were the other 3 guys given the spot over a veteran who had played well when ever called upon? I think we all know the answer at this site.

well, Dustin was promoted to the active squad and will play this Sunday.

Fox promoted
With the defensive secondary hobbled for this week's game, the Bills promoted Dustin Fox from the practice squad to the 53-man roster today. Fox, an Ohio State product, spent eight weeks on the Bills' practice squad last year before being promoted to the active roster for the final six weeks of the season. He was in Bills training camp and was cut before the start of the season. To make room for Fox, the Bills put rookie linebacker Marcus Buggs on the injured reserve list. He has a high ankle sprain.

The Bills will be without Donte Whitner and Jabari Greer for Sunday's game at Kansas City. Safety Bryan Scott will try to practice today.

What's the latest news on Fox? Will he still start as Cornerback next season?

I feel if it weren't for injuries, he would be well established player at his position. I hope he starts and plays as cornerback back for many years. Though the odds are against him.
