The long-awaited segment on the Duke Rape Hoax is on CBS 60 minutes tonight at 7 pm ET, or after the football game. It would seem to blow the case out of the water even more than it has been already.

Recently, New York Magazine ran a story that was critical of the prosecution case. The writer admitted that the idea of rich, white, athletes abusing a poor black woman aroused the indidgnation of the press. The story "appealed to us good-hearted, liberal metropolitans," he wrote.

I was so pleased to have 60 minutes expose the racist black mentality during prime time television hours. The second stripper admitted to provoking the lacrosse players by saying they had a "little white dick". The team responded by insults that included ni99er references.

What was priceless is how she felt that the use of the word ni99er is more offensive than a demeaning genital reference as a racial epithet. I wonder how many stupid white people will agree? One would be too many.

This was the best exposure of black on white victimization that I have ever seen from a major network, or at all for that matter.

Impressive and surprising show of truth for CBS.

In addition, a few days after the "attack" the accuser returned to the hospital complaining of head, neck, and back injuries (can you say potential lawsuit) and her family was reporting that she was so traumatized from the "rape" she couldn't carry on. Then 60 Minutes produced a videotape of the accuser at a strip joint riding the pole two weeks after the "attack". The boss said she hadn't missed a performance. Priceless!

Yup, this was striking. Friends of mine who usually downplay racial angles are fully convinced of the nature of this case now. American Renaissance couldn't have done much of a better job than CBS. The real question here is: why? Why is CBS essentially taking the side of right here? What is their beef with Nifong, as opposed to say, Elliot Spitzer, another gruesome prosecutor who abused his office for political gain? What's the angle here? The MSM doesn't just take the side of rich white kids for nothing.

I was wondering the same thing, Warnipple. I speculated that perhaps CBS is trying to revamp their image after all the scandals they've faced in the past year or so. And Fox is doing major damage to the big three in news ratings and viewership, so they're trying to respond with a few token 'conservative' programs and shows (cf. Lou Dobbs on CNN.)

On the other hand, even if there motive is more sinister, sometimes these things have unintended consequences, e.g. the Dems sitting on the Foley scandal for months; it isn't working. In this case, CBS may have something up their sleeve but people like your friends may not be dissuaded once CBS comes out with the 'surprise ending.'

CBS may also just be trying to scoop the other networks, because this case is blatantly false on it's face.

The reason for the public crucifixion of Nifong is that he was the face of black power, which the media will forever downplay. As we all know, the political strategy of the black is to always be the powerless victim. This story had the focus of the corruption on Nifong. In their six-month investigation, they did not report on any political contributions, or community leaders that influenced Nifong in his actions.

If Nifong would have done his job correctly, blacks could then demonstrate how there is still injustice in the US and add more fuel to their goal of had-outs for all blacks.

So what does the media do? They go after the DA. Not the political leaders that got him elected over an other black.

From what I could tell of google searches, Seligmann is Jewish. One source claimed that David Evans is Jewish also, but I question the credibility of that source. It's still sketchy as there wasn't a lot of information out there on that question yet.

That one kid lied about never making a racial remark in his life. I bet he said it a thousand times after this incident alone.
