In the current edition of ESPN the magazine, they have
a good article on Drew Bennett.I had no idea that he
ran a 4.5 40 and has a 42 inch vertical.He is closer
to Matt Jones than people think although he isn't as
fast. How can you stop a 6'5 receiver who can jump out
of the stadium. He has excellent hands. He seems like a
very nice guy and funny too.Check it out guys.

Maybe he'll get a shot at some decent playing time in Chicago.

Well, that explains why it looked as thoughnobody was near him in the highlight clips last year.

Bennett is always up for the challenge. He is the clear
number 1 receiver in Tenn. and he deserves it.Drew will
line up against the best corners all year long but he
will continue to lead by example.I just want him and
McNair to try and get on the same page.Volek just knows
how to get the ball to him so much better. We can only
hope that both McNair in Tenn. and Leftwich in Jacksonville can get ball to Bennett and Jones. If he
were on Indy,I wouldn't be so worried about it.Good luck
to Drew this season.

The Tennessee offense is being overhauled to have McNair get rid of the ball much quicker on most passing plays, meaning more short routes by the receivers, the idea being to keep McNair from getting so banged up. New offensive coordinator Norm Chow also likes this type of offense. The ESPN The Magazine article on Bennett mentioned that he will be running in traffic a lot more this season on short crossing routes and the like.

This doesn't sound real promising, though McNair also was recently quoted as saying he'll still be throwing deep balls. Bennett has the talent to catch the ball anywhere onthe field. After what heshowed last year the Titans would be foolish not to make every effort to maximize his production.

Anyone else thinking about getting a Drew Bennett jersey so we can be ahead of the game when he gets to the Pro Bowl this year.

If I had to predict who will lead these guys in receiving,I would take either Bennett or maybe even
Kevin Curtis. The Rams love to throw deep and Curtis
is the fastest player on their team.We could have 4
or 5 receivers go over 1000 yards this season.Things
are looking better than in past years.
