Doug McDermott

Doug McDermott is going to be a star in this league. Chicago went out of their way to get the kid and they won't be sorry. His nickname is
"McBuckets" because he can score as good as anyone. The kid lives and breaths basketball. I'm very excited to see what he can do in the coming years. Here is a good short video on his draft and summer league experience.

He's very good for someone who "plays below the rim.," even though he logged just under 37 inches in the vertical at the combine.

He does play below the rim, though. He just does it ridiculously well. You rarely see someone use both hands in the paint as well as him, or finish near the basket as well as him.

He's going to be a star in the league because of those reasons and how he moves so well without the ball, not because of his athleticism, underrated as it is.
