Former MLB pitcher Don Gullett dies at age 73. Most here may not remember him, but I do. He was a big part of the mid 70's Cincinnati Reds 4 National League Titles and 2 World Series Championships. The Cincinnati Reds were my favorite team growing up and Pete Rose was my favorite player. I believe he also won a World Series later with the NY Yankees. Although his stats weren't HOF worthy, he did have a successful career. Going 109-50 and leading the league in winning percentage twice. He had career season high18 wins in 1973. May he rest in peace.

Absolutely, Don Gullett was a great pitcher. I was a big fan of the big red machine. They were not known for their pitching, but Gullett, Pedro Borbon, Rawly Eastwick, Gary Nolan, Fred Norman were pretty good.
