DNA Testing

Do any of you men know anything about DNA Testing to determine your ancestry? I'm very interested in this subject.I have heard they can take a White Man's DNA and break it down into what ethnic group he is-German,Irish,English,Etc.
Is this FACT or not.I would like to have this test done,but only if it's on the level.Anyone know much about this??

It sounds a little-hair splittinngly suspicious to me. I mean, you can say certain gene clusters are more common in Scandinavia, in Ireland, etc, but it doesn't go much farther than that. I think most Europeans have been invading and interbreeding to long for this to have much meaning, and besides, White is White.

They're not 100% accurate due to the companies low databases and limited set of markers. I've heard Greek, for example, show 5% Native American admixture. So if the test show you're 5% African American take that into consideration: it can be wrong.
