...the white girl beat the black guy in the 3 pt shootout on ESPN? Suhwwwweet! A gal from Purdue (the top shooter from the womens group) beat a black kid )(from Oregon) by one point in the 3pt shoot out. I was laughing my ass off! I'll bet his brothers was giving him no end of hell.

I'm not sure that girls do better, but if they do I'm sure it is because they use a girls-sized ball. They do seem to hit three pointers with at least the same amount of ease as the guys.

They are better shooters than us because fundamentals are more stressed in the women's game. As long as they don't start winning our dunk contests. Don't bring up Candace Parker's fluke dunk contest victory. That was a pc victory because she actually made a dunk, there was nothing pretty or especially athletic about it.

I'm watching the replay of the girls and overall 3 point shootout right now and itis pretty cool. Thechick from Vandy who made it to the final is fine! Aaron Brooks was the guy from Oregon who lost to Katie Geralds from Purdue. Katie actually did the finger across the throat gesture to Brooks after he finished, as to say that he was fixing to get beat. That is true. Men could learn a lesson from the girls. It is not always necessary to take a jump shot. The closer to the floor the more accurate the shooter will be, especially from long range.
