At one point she said something amazing that I think every idiot white attending NBA and NFL games should listen to. Don't remember every word verbatim, but she said something like this: "If fans don't see enough athletes that look them on the field, you can't blame them for not going to games or watching games on TV". Thank you Mrs. Robinson. Could not have said it better myself!

How have we gotten to this point, mostly American born players earned a trip to visit their elected President and are really looking forward to going, but are being bullied around by a handful of slimy third-worlder's who aren't happy the U.S. isn't a Communist, sh1thole nation (yet) like the ones they fled?

As far as the three American blacks, who cares about them? As I noted before, they are just stupid Golem being led around by their Jewish masters. Truthteller I think you are onto something. There should be limits on the number of foreign players on a team, I couldn't agree more. If you have been to a minor league game lately I swear it's like you attending a game at the Latin America World Series. Don't know if it's the area I live in or it is like this in every class of minor league ball. In all honesty, I believe it might be as high as 70% of the players are foreign-born.

For years I looked to baseball as the last refuge for white athletes. No more. The assessments above are accurate. It has been a steady two step process. The most obvious is the influx of foreign players. That steady drumbeat has grown more pronounced with each passing year. Plus in the past few years there has been a decided increase in top three round draft picks who are African Americans. And most of them are either shortstops or centerfielders.

When you consider USA soccer now has racially mixed teams at the top levels despite the fact that it is still overwhelmingly white at the lower levels including high school it is chilling to the bone with what is happening in all of sports.

It is nothing other than White Suffocation. That feeling that white athletes will continue to fall off and eventually becoming hyper marginalized. Something we sort of see in the current NBA where white players 6'7" or smaller have been relegated to second string duties, if they are lucky, while the vast majority languish on the bench. Those that actually make the team which is not often.

Most white baseball players start at a disadvantage. They are routinely 3 to 4 years older than foreign players. Part of that is due to the college rules about entering the draft only after your junior season if you are in college. Most white players get stuck in the mid minors as they hit their low to mid twenties. Many athletic white players sign a baseball contract out of high school and foolishly pass up the easier sport of football ending up wasting away in the minor leagues.

Meanwhile the real concerted effort from the top in the search for MLB stars goes towards the foreign mostly non white players, many from the DR, who populate most of the lower level A leagues and both the advanced rookie leagues (Appalachian and Pioneer) and starter leagues (Arizona and Gulf). Here you will find tons of young black/Latino/mixed players who are still in their teens. Often 16 to 17 years old. Many don't make it but because there are so many quite a number do make it. And they are fast tracked so they enter the majors routinely at younger ages than their white counterparts. But now most of the minor league teams are chock full of non white players except for pitchers, catchers and slow sluggers, positions which remain mainly white although even in those spots you see an evolution.

The Braves have two young black/mixed showcase future "superstars" according to the media. Ozzie Albies who is now 22 and Ronald Acuna who is 21 and both have been completely settled in the MLBs now for a couple to few years. This is the template many teams are trying to emulate.

A few years back there was a modest scandal concerning the authenticity of many of these foreign player's ages as some were found to have listed an age 2 to 4 years younger than they really are. I am still wondering if that lying is still going on?

You are correct Shadow about the decided uptick in African-American high picks in baseball. But unlike basketball and football (except at quarterback and kicker), you can't hide a decidedly sub-par hitter or pitcher in baseball. The clowns over at ESPN can drone on all day about the "mouth watering upside" of J.P. Crawford, Sweet Lew Brinson, Phillip Ervin, Chase Tucker, Delino DeShields Jr., Daz Cameron, Torii Hunter Jr. (ex-football), Byron Buxton, Greg Toles, Roman Quinn and dozens of others, but it won't mean a darn thing if they hit .200 and strike out at an alarming rate in the show. Good points, Shadowlight. One last, quick thing: Notice all the muscle, back, oblique and other odd, non-contact muscle injuries that have decimated the Yankees? I never thought of Aaron Judge as a steroid type, for example. But how can one explain the fact that he could miss 60 games (or more) merely swinging at a pitch that doesn't hit him? Aaron Hicks, a high pick that looked like a total bust for his first 9 years in the pros (minors and MLB), suddenly turns into Willie Mays 2.0 in the first half of 2017. But after that he can't stay healthy due to a rash of muscle and back injuries? Mike Stanton will miss over 40 games fouling off a ball that didn't hit him? Troy Tulowitzki, who is always injured, had a similar non-contact injury (calf). Yoenis Cespedes of the Mets couldn't run 1st to 3rd without popping a hamstring or groin and missing a month? I remember the reason why baseball was among the last sports to adopt weightlifting as part of their exercise routine for overall conditioning was because of the fear of the athletes becoming tight and muscle bound. Similar to boxing coaches wanted their athletes loose to have a full range of motions and to not have over developed lats.

Once steroids and other PED's were introduced to baseball it fundamentally altered time tested theories on how to win in the sport and talented station to station hitters dried up in the game.

I also remember talented guys who screwed up their swing and became musclebound beach bodybuilder types and probably shortened their careers ie Reuben Sierra.

If you go on MLB.com/prospects.....there is literally no team (except the Rockies) where African Americans are not listed as top 5 prospects yet there are really only a handful of solid black players in the big leagues. Anyone remember when J.P Crawford was the top prospect in baseball?

hehe....that reminds me of a story about the great Casey Stengel..................when he was managing the Yankees they were one of the last clubs to integrate in MLB.......the first Black player they got in the early 60's was a catch by the name of Elston Howard.

In the first game that he played in the majors he comes up to bat and lines a ball deep into the left center gap..........Howard takes off tags first and heads to second for a sure double.

The relay comes in from deep left center field and Howard ends up out by a mile.........
