Named a First-Team All-America defensive back
by the Football Gazette last season. Also named
First-Team All-Pioneer Football League. One of
the most athletic and versatile members of the
team. Will likely see action both in the defensive
backfield and on offense as a halfback or receiver.
Could also return kicks. Credited with
42 total tackles in 2006. Had four interceptions,
11 pass break-ups, one fumble recovery
and one blocked kick. Caught one pass for 11
yards. Had one punt return for 13 yards. Had
an outstanding freshman season as a defensive
back, making several starts. Led the team with
five interceptions returned 53 yards. Credited
with 49 total tackles, including 42 solos, five
passes broken up, one forced fumble and two
fumbles recovered. Had two interceptions at
Valparaiso. Listed first-team on the preseason
depth at cornerback.
