Bad news I just heard that Ball ran a 4.58 40

This is awful news because this is just .03 seconds faster than what another record breaking white WR by the name of Mike Hass ran last year and look whats happened to him. I got a bad feeling now about Ball's chances in the draft now. The bottom line is if your a white WR and want any chance in the NFL you MUST run under a 4.55 or your done; no questions asked. It's really unfortunate the NFL puts so much stock into a stupid 40 yard dash time.

I dont know why posting stoped on this forum, but I am a true believer in Ball's talent and found out about him all on my own. I never watched the espn highlights or heard his name before, but one day i noticed his stats when looking up Divll players and thought wow, this guy has to have something on J. Rice, and I was right. I honestly think that some NFL team will give this guy a chance (cough) (raiders ) (only hoping), but one team will, and he will blow them away. GOOD Luck to you David, you have plenty of fans out here that are routing for you.... go get em man.

As I said I wouldn't be the least surprised if Ball didn't get drafted based on the Hass treatment last draft. And unfortunatly I was correct. I hope Ball signs with a team that gives white WRs a fair chance(don't know if they exsist) but Ball I hope makes an well informed choice on where to play at the next level.

He picked the Bears and Lovie only thinks white guys are good QBs TEs LBs and O-lineman. There is no chance that both Hass and Ball make the 53 man roster as they both obviously should. They are similar players, so I hope Ball makes it and Hass leaves to go to the Colts or Pats where he might be wanted as that 5th WR.

It'll be deja vu Mike Hass style as Ball be cut by the end of August. As simple as that.

David Ball not getting drafted shows us just how much work there is to be done before things change. Jerry Rice never had TV exposure with MVSU in the early 80s. David should have received the same opportunities that Rice did, period.
