Ok, back to the subject and again mostly on memory of previous study but I think most of my facts are correct. Let's hit a little pre-war activity first. In the 1930's by far the biggest scourge on the Earth were the Bolsheviks and international communism. The Nazi party originated as the street level enemy of the Communist Party which and the Communist Party was very real in Germany. Berlin at one time was completely controlled by the commies. When Hitler came to power he was the world leader in fighting international Communism - even saving Spain from communist clutches. We know now that communist did infiltrate all the powerful world governments including our own and they are even more powerful today - and yes, there were are still are a high number of Jews running the show. The Bolshevik/Communist induced tragedy of the Holodomor took place only a stone's throw away Germany's border. This was quite a different world from our insulated 1930's America.
On to Poland. The attack on Poland is the only reasonable argument that can be made IMO to demonize Germany. Germany to rational people can not possibly be seen as aggressive and threat to the world prior to this. There was no plan for world domination - no plan existed and it would be silly to think so - that was a whopper of a lie. What did exist is the possible spread of Nationalism juxtapose to communism or globalism. Germany was a successful and thriving ethnic national nation and other people nearby did notice. A war was needed to end this spread of ethnic Nationalism before it reached the rest of the Western World. The ethnic strive that existed between Poles and Germans was used as the gateway.
The whole question on who was responsible for the war resides with who you think was responsible for the starting the war between Poland and Germany. A follow up to that would be if it was any of our business anyway to enter into such a war no matter what we believed concerning Poland vs. Germany. I believe that Hitler knew war was coming to him no matter what and he knew Poland was the excuse. I believe Poland played the original stooge and was in fact inciting a war with many border incursions, acts of aggression, and ramped up ethnic aggression against the German minority in Poland. I don't think the allies were exactly shocked that Germany finally attacked just as surely as Pearl Harbor was no surprise. War was the plan. Now my 2 year old is attacking me - gotta go. Sorry.
