For 54 yrs old, Tyson looked good. Won every round.
Knowing old fighters who "come back" or continue fighting Mike or Roy will probably ask for another fight soon...
...Yup.

Anybody that wasted 50 dollars on this PPV probably has too much money for their own good. There are many newly indigent people that are having problems paying bills and various local charities could use that more than cable companies the promoters and two semi broke shot fighters that burned through more money than their African ancestral homeland has in their annual GDP.Glad I did not waste $50.00 on that . LOL
Interestingly, I have a friend who is a Lutheran minister who boxes at a gym (he can't get any matches in his senior division (he's 82). We met back in 67-68 in Vietnam where he was a chaplain and I was a grunt and have kept in touch ever since through writing letters (he doesn't have a computer). He's the real McCoy.Anybody that wasted 50 dollars on this PPV probably has too much money for their own good. I saw this farce and the Joyce vs Dubois fight, concerning the real fight while Joyce moves like a mummy and really isn't more than an arm puncher he has a beard rivaled only by Wach, Oliver McCall and prime Ray Mercer.
Before the fight Dubois was musing out loud how he would be fighting Usyk for the vacant WBO belt in early 21', with his shock loss I expect Joyce to inherit his number 2 ranking and those two will fight for the vacant strap with the winner probably unifying with the Fury vs Joshua winner.
PS, I remember years ago a boxing old timer said a classic crude line about watching bad boxing is like watching two old people f&^c*&g and that about sums up the this farce, but these two were both guaranteed 10 million and 3 million for that garbage.
I suspect there will be a long line up of former heavyweight champions and contenders who are broke trying to get even a fraction of this in the proposed league of Tysons. I just hope boxing commissions are diligent on looking over the medical records of the Razor Ruddocks and Ray Mercers of the world or somebody could get punchy overnight from fighting in this senior league.
I know it's a few days too late but we forgot to mention about the Nate Robinson debacle in the ring.
I guess the censors approved of this line as Gimp said the line about Robinson thinking Jake Paul was "White Boy Rick" and I got this one....

I knew there was end game to the senior's league, also I suppose that Tyson thought up this league when he discussed his cupboard was bare with his accountant without Covid restrictions on traveling and crowds.
I suspect the monetary scenario is the best case scenario.
Jake Paul vs Askren is on tommorow both weighed in at 190+ pounds but Askren looks like he got off the couch to make this weight. I actually expect Paul to win if he can take a punch as he is fitter and stronger at this weight and is only a "boxer".
I hope these fights die from over exposure as it was announced that Oldyfield would fight Kevin Mcbride in June. Both Oldyfield and McBride marginally slur their words and while they are scheduled to fight only a 6 round real fight, sooner or later a shot to the pieces ex champion or former top 10 fighter is going to get badly injured in these fights and will further sully the image of boxing...https://fightnews.com/
