I wasn't sure where to put this, its some college highlights (working on a pro one but he lost some ability due to injury but still had a great season in 85).

Craig James appreciation thread since its been slow for football on here. He never seems to get any props. He had the 2nd best season for yards from scrimmage by a White back in 1985 with 1587, averaged 4.91 ypc rushing. Hillis beat him out with 1654 last year. Jim Taylor's best was 1580, Mark Van Eeghan had 1408, Riggins was 1376. I think Taylor and Riggins were better but his 1985 season was still great.

I don't know why his stats went down after 85, I know he was dealing with injuries (knee problems from what I remember).

He had back to back knee injuries in 86' and 87'. In 88' I think he was used as a utility back and he retired after the season. That (85) season was special and his playoff run was similar to Riggins in 82'. Especially the upset of the Dolphins in the AFC title game. Edited by: white is right
