It's well past time to start a thread for the Dynamic Rookie Sensation Cooper Flagg. He had the highest scoing game for an NBA Rookie ever tonight!

Incredible! Seems to be getting better each week. When the season ends, we could be looking at the greatest rookie season of all-time.

On a tangent, I was watching Jeopardy tonight and one of the answers in the category Sports was "The first White American drafted first overall in the NBA since 1977." In '77 it was Kent Benson. Of course no one knew the correct response and these were three finalists in this year's Tournament of Champions, which contestants study diligently for.

I wasn't surprised by no one knowing who Flagg is, whereas if it was the first black selected first overall in half a century say in hockey many more people including casual sports fans would know his name, but I was surprised to see Jeopardy have a race-based question (technically an answer) explicitly about a White person. Can't recall it happening before in that type of semi-positive context. Maybe an ulterior motive was to reinforce the myth that Whites are inferior athletes because it had been so long since it happened previously.

The general rule in woke society is that whiteness can only be expressed as a negative, never as a positive and never even in a neutral way.

Flagg becomes the first teenager to achieve consecutive 30+ point double-doubles surpassing Doncic and James. Flagg followed up his 49 point performance last night against Houston with 34/12. However, Dallas lost another close game 111-107.

Yes indeed Carolina Speed!

Dont watch this ; but was found on local message board Funny SNL Clip here

And ex NBA player Jamal Mashburn (the one that folded like a cheap tent cowering to Shaq) made a eye popping comment
listen to this " if Cooper Flagg was in next seasons NBA Draft he's go 6th"
You can see Bruce Pearl and the other guy in disbelief

mind you this was said just after Flagg dropped 49 points in the NBA

Great comments of backlash
They hate the fact that white boys are running the NBA now basically.

Bruce pearl laughing his arse off

Isn't it weird how the white players that dominate the NBA like Flagg, Jokic, Luka, etc. all get pretty much no respect on the shows?

Mashburn is a damn idiot for that take. And we all know why he is hating on Flagg.

He doesnt want to admit that Kon K is better than those guys either. These college freshmen are overrated. Peterson looks really good when he plays. Boozer doesnt seem to have elite NBA athleticism or size; not sure if he is better than his dad. Wilson might be KG 2.0. AJD is huge and explosive but he isnt polished. Koa Peat better than Cooper Flagg? GTFO with that bullshite Jamal.

But Kon is a legit NBA sniper as a rookie. That is huge. I dont see any of those freshmen walking into the league and averaging more PPG than Coop and Kon.

This guy does say
I think a lot of people saying these 5 freshman are excellent.

I was watching the post game commentary after Flagg scored 49 on 20-29 shooting! Charles Barkley had the best opinion of Flagg that I've seen so far. Of course Shaq made his comments, he's a hater of just about everyone. Black or White. Mashburn saying Caleb Wilson will be better than Flagg. I can't wait to see that! LOL.
.....and what was it we were hearing about the ages of the Indiana football team? Uh, Wilson is a 19 year old Freshman. He'll turn 20 in July. Almost 2 years older than Flagg who began his freshman season at 17. In an era where most parents try to hold their children back, Flagg always stepped up in age.
Barkley said Flagg was a more complete player than LeBron!
Knueppel is on pace to shatter the NBA rookie record on 3-pointers made!!!

Good on Barkley for having the sensible take as usual.

I just checked and Cooper is the youngest player in the NBA right now. Even next season, he'll likely be amongst the youngest still.
