There has been little talk of tomorrows games on this site. I've decided who I think will win only to reverses direction and go back the other way a couple times already. Theses are hard choices.

Pittsburgh had a head of steam going last week and did a job on the Dolts. I don't think Plummer will be as easy a target as Manning. Jake can run well, is more elusive and actually plays better when forced out of the pocket. If the Steelers throw the kitchen sink at him he might make them pay if he continues to play smart and doesn't revert to his old gunslinging ways. Bettis may not perform well sucking wind in that rarified atmosphere. I don't like Bailey but I doubt if Ward and Co. will pose too much of a threat. Lynch has gotten his second wind and is raring to go.Cowher has got to be running on fumes and Shanahan wants to get out from under Elway's shadow. The Patriots struggled in that stadium and I gotta figure the Steelers will too. I'm picking the Broncos.

Mike Holmgren needs this one to get his -Emperor's Crown- placed back on his head. He's got everything going for him right now. Home field , noisy stadium, good all round team and an excellent quarterback. Alexander should be okay and that young linebacker is flying all over the place.

Carolina will be without their best running back and will have to depend on Goings. Hoover has done well for them in the past. If The running game stalls, allowing Seattle to to gang up on Smith, it could betoo much for the Panthers to overcome. My mind tells me Seattle has the game won. My heart though is rooting for Jake and Proehl to beat the Walrus. I'm taking Carolina

Oh and one more thing. There was an awful lot of heavy hitting in the Bears- Panthers game. If theCats are recovered, theyshould lay some big lumber on the Seahawks.

I'd like to see the -Two Jakes- in the Super Bowl.

My picks are Pittsburgh and Seattle.I want to see Big Ben get them to the Super Bowl in only his 2nd season. It's amazing that he doesn't even get talked about half as much as St.M.Vick!What a joke.I also would love to see Joe Jurevicius get to another Super Bowl.He is such a classy guy and one hell of an athlete despite what the media says.He is above average speed with incredible hands and toughness.

Actually, all the quarterbacks left in the huntwould be worthy of our cheers. Bendefinitelydeserves more creditfrom the press than what he's received thus far. He's a good passer, very smart, runs great and ispretty nifty in the pocket for a man his size.

The Steelers are in the AFC Conference Championship game for the sixth time in Bill Cowher's 14 years as head coach. That's a very impressive achievement. Cowher was one of the most zealous Caste System disciplesearlyin his career, probably in large part by seeing what Jimmy Johnson had done with the University of Miami and then the Cowboys, but he has mellowed since then. He is set as coach for life in Pittsburgh, as it should be, and he will most likely never play a white man at receiver or defensive back, but he definitely likes his white tight ends, fullbacks, and defensive linemen, not to mention the Steelers will not repeat the Great Eight Year Kordell Stewart Experiment anytime in the near future.

The Broncos are the least white friendly of the four teams remaining, even worse than the Seahawks because at least Seattle has Joe Jurevicius. Mike Shanahan achieved the most dubious distinction two seasons ago of fielding a team that did not have a single white player on defense, starter or reserve. That's beyond disgusting.

Despite what we know about the NFL's engrained anti-white policies, the league grows more powerful every year. The hold the Steelers have on the Pittsburgh vicinity is incredible. The media coverage, both on air and in newspapers, is 90 percent Steelers and 10 percent everything else. And I'm not talking about sports coverage, but 90 percent of news coverage period. It's an amazing phenomenon.

And because this is a dying city whose younger denizens with ambitions of upward mobility have scattered across the country, the Steelers have in many ways replaced the Cowboys as America's Team. They also have a great tradition that attracts fans everywhere. There are bars in almost every NFL city which have been taken over by Steelers fans, a dozen just in Denver, whereas the Broncos have no fan support in Pittsburgh.

So, with all that out of the way, I'll be rooting for the Steelers to get to the Super Bowl, hopefully to play Jake Delhomme and the Panthers. Edited by: Don Wassall

I'll pull for the Panthers because of Kris Mangum, Ricky Proehl, and their defensive players. I'll also pull for the Steelers because of Big Ben, Heath Miller, and their white RB. I think Caste-wise, that would be the best matchup for the Super Bowl. I hate to pull against Joe though. Edited by: Colonel_Reb

well Kreider is only a typical caste fullback... unless it's some other white runningback you mean Colonel?

Kreider plays his role well though, he kills guys with his blocks. Just knowing he's there is enough for me to pull for him. I really do hope Hoover gets 8+ carries tomorrow!Edited by: Colonel_Reb

Any matchup except Denver and Seattle will suit me. I have no desire to see an old AFC west division matchup in the Super Bowl, of all places. I don't really care for Seattle, although I do like Jurevicius. I'd much rather see Carolina in the big show, and I think they will win.

I mentioned in another post that I'd like to see Jake Plummer raising the Lombardi trophy after the Super Bowl. It would make a great TV image, a hirsute white guy on top of the sports world. Don't see it very often.

Having said that, I like Pittsburgh. What Roethlisberger has accomplished in two seasons is phenomenal and it is completely unbelievable that he hasn't received more publicity than he has. Unlike Bart I think the Pittsburgh air attack will win the game for them.

I predict a victory for both road teams this weekend, a 5 vs 6 seed in the Super Bowl, and Pittsburgh to win it all, capping off a number of dramatic elements in this year's NFL season, which will only serve to heighten the league's popularity next year and years to come.

How's that for prognostication?

It is beyond disgusting. I wasn't aware of that. I still think the Bronco's will win, but I hope the Steelers beat them.

Let's hope Jurevicious haves a big game with a couple of seattle's wr's hobbled and less than 100%. I love the mountain-man look of Jake Plummer, too often you see the white athlete with the skinhead- clean shaven look. my predictions...broncos 34 pitt 31..and seahawks 27 panthers 24.

The only other team to duplicate Shanny's landmark Caste System feat was this year's Vikings after Mike Tice had successfully purged Brian Russell and Chris Hovan.

Big Ben is having one the best games of his short career today. If the Steelers continue to roll through the 3rd quarter it will be all over. The Steelers running game was struggling through most of the 1st half but Big Ben moves a little here and there then hits the open man. Great job so far.

This sign should read: Bus + Bus's mommy = annoying Super Bowl.

Because you know they're gonna show his mom after every carry.

I actually don't mind Bettis or his family. They seem to be really good people.I would compare J.Bettis to Tim Duncan in the nba.I will root for him anyday over guys like M.Vick and T.O. What a game by Big Ben.He just continues to amaze everyone.I feel really good about Seattle winning the 2nd game. They just need to get the ball to Joe more.He helped them get this far,I just hope they don't forget about him today.

Can anyone tell me why Joe Jurevicius hasn't gotten one ball thrown his way? wtf are Seneca Wallace and Jerramy Stevens?

Nick Goings isn't getting it done. Do they give Hoover a chance? Noooo, they hand the ball off to Jamal Robertson. Who the hell is he?

I'm just pissed because Seattle is winning I guess. And handily, I might add.

Looks like I'm going 50-50 in my picks today, although it was nice to see the Steelers win through the air, like I predicted. Edited by: White Shogun

Jake the Snake fizzled out , but it's not all his fault, the Steelers had the game won as soon as they stepped on the field. Big Ben was sensational, he's only 23?

Same story in Seattle. The Hawks looked like vultures feeding on Cougar carcass. Hard to believe that team beat up the Bears last week. Lack of a running game didn't help either. Jake struggled all day. Gotta give credit to Holmes, he had his crew working. Hasselbeck is on a roll.

So what imagery do we have in the Super Bowl? A hard hatshot and a beer steel townvs. a bunch of latte drinking, expresso swilling San Francisco wannabee's.

Which team will win?

The Steelers are gonna win! They're finally going to get "One for the Thumb." The Steelers are the more solid all-around team and have been in this position or close to it six times in the past 11 seasons. The Seahawks have never been to a Super Bowl and won't win on their first try.

And how about Big Ben? He's close to superstar status in just his second season. One more big plus in what has been a disastrous year for black NFL quarterbacks.

I got my picks right and won a little change to boot. Not a bad weekend for me.I really believe like Don that the Steelers will just be too much for the Seahawks to handle. The experience factor will win out.

I think it was on NFL matchup. One of the guys mentioned that the Bears-Panthers game was one of the most physical games he had ever seen and wondered what the Panthers had left this week. I think he hit the nail on the head. The Panthers didn't look like they had any fight in them at all. The offensive line looked very sluggish. It was just like the Bears have always been, lose but beat up your opponent for the next team.

I didn't even finish watching the NFC Championship game. You could tell the Seahawks were going to win after watching the first two series by the Panthers. I turned away when the Seahawks went up 10-0.

How pathetic is the NFC when an old AFC team has to win the conference championship?

I hope the Stillers hand them their ass on a platter.

Is it just me or does Shaun Alexander act gay?
