2 yr Starter(Soph&Jr) for State Champ Soph yr and State Runner Up Jr year. Unanimous 1st Team AD, 2nd Team All Greater Houston by the Houston Chronicle, 1st team allHouston 5A by Prepinsider and 3rd Team All State by 5ATexasFootball.com as a JR. Dave Campbells FB Magazine named him 1st Team pre-season All state and District defensive MVP for this upcoming year. Had 7 Ints and around 25 PBU's as a Jr. while covering the top WR from every team for 16 weeks. 5 are D1 WR's that were basically shut down.



Not a sniff from any Colleges. Gotten some letters, but no offers or visits.

Kid is a white CB.

I have mentioned Colt in my Texas HS Football thread. He is a hell of a CB and deserves a shot in college. His lack of recruiting reminds me of another Katy product, Will Thompson. Thompson was the Houston Chronicle Defensive MVP at CB/S and his only offers were from the service academies. He opted to go to Blinn JC for a year and was JUCO All American Honorable Mention as a freshman CB. He ended up having a nice career at D1-AA Texas State as a CB. Probably could have started for many D1-A programs. Let's hope that Colt gets more opportunities than Will.
