Hey guys. One of the top players in the country and a guy we've been following for a few years is now the favorite to win the Heisman. Let's hope the Kansas State Wildcats can continue their winning ways and make a run at an undefeated streak. Klein accounts for around
64% of their offense. He is a very gifted player. I hope he can follow in the Crouch/Tebow mobile qb mold and win a heisman trophy.

amen, I think Colin Klein is closer to Tebow than Crouch, I think he can throw better than both. Crouch was a great athlete but there just seems to be some quality about guys like Tebow and Klein, can't put your finger on it. Well Tebow threw well but they have messed with his mechanics because it wasn't traditional, even though Vince Young threw like a girl and was given a chance, nothing changed with his mechanics, Phillip Rivers still throws like a shot put at times.

Great point about Radio and his throwing motion. Klein does have a kink in his motion but I think he is a very draftable high potential type QB. He exposed that tar black secondary of WVU last week.

When Collin Klein is playing, everything is fine. He continues his march towards a possible national championship and a heisman. We need to really root hard for Kansas State over this second half of the season. If only Jordy Nelson was till there. That would have been one hell of a combo. In a way I'm happy he is not. Collin has put in his time and he is a superstar. I would rather that he doesn't have to share the spotlite with anyone.

It's funny how most of the media treats Klein. They give him praise but they don't really get excited. You can tell that they would rather have him lose so they can cheer on their type of player. What a joke! Deal with it media because Klein and Kstate are the real deal.

Yes, they mentioned him more before the season started and at the beginning before they started playing harder teams. They had some rankings of "throwback players" He was their number 1 choice (Rex Burkhead was on there was well, gee I wonder why). So in their eyes this is a big compliment. I am guessing they thought they would lose a few and he would have a few bad games.

I posted this is in week 9 thread but fits here.

. Klein should be the top choice for the Heisman right now, he is the perfect definition of a dual threat qb. When Toby Gerhart lost everybody was like "The Heisman is more about the best player on the best team", well you can make a strong case for Kansas St being the best team right now, they have dominated on offense and defense. They are on their way to be 8-0. With this win they will have beaten 3 ranked teams, including Oklahoma who was ranked number 6 at the time.

I am guessing the media expected Oklahoma to win that one, I agree we really have to root for him for the rest of the season.

The media are now trying to push Teo for Heisman. Personally I am neutral on Teo because he isn't an afflete and seems to be a hard nosed type player.

In terms of the Heisman though Klein better win it. The media would love to hype up a non-white player to keep the streak alive. I believe the last white player to win it was Tebow in 2007. I do not count Bradford as white since in the past he has made it a point to discuss his Native American (Indian) heritage. I believe Gerhart was robbed of the Heisman in 2009 because the media did not want to recognize a white RB as the best player in the nation.

Klein is the face of one of the top teams in the country. He is a true dual threat who is albeit raw as a passer has really come on in recent weeks. He is the best player in America.

I couldn't have said it any better myself. Collin Klein is the best player in all of college football and the media hates it! The more talented and athletic a white football player is, the more it scares them. He has it all. The kid can flat out play!
