Miller was the most brazen about paying players, it amazes me it took this long to get the hook, but I suppose they needed to have every I dotted and t crossed or the university would lose a potential lawsuit for breach of contract.Sean Miller fired by Arizona after twelve seasons for rampant cheating (rampant NCAA violations, namely paying his players). The Wildcats piddled around .500 this season with a "self-imposed" post-season ban. They were ranked in some early Top Ten polls for 2022. Miller made three Elite Eights and won five Pac10 titles. No surprise that he was an "excellent recruiter." Notable whites to play for him include Nico Mannion, TJ McConnell, Lauri Markkanen, and Kaleb Tarcewski (all top flight recruits themselves). I wouldn't mistake him for being white-friendly, though.
Bill Self at Kansas and Will Wade at LSU have similar, unresolved allegations hanging over them. Self would be a bigger name to go down, as he's won a national championship and over a dozen conference titles. It's remarkable that these "investigations" take years to play out, as opposed to the swift action against any racial faux pas. Penn State, for example, fired its up-and-coming coach before the season based on an outgoing black player's complaint of "insensitive language" during an individual meeting.
Self succeeded Roy Williams at Kansas, who went on to finish his Hall of Fame career at UNC. I'd love to see some mud get slung at Williams, who miraculously escaped unscathed when UNC's football team was discovered earning transcript grades from courses that didn't exist. Purely wishful thinking, as much of the skill in running dirty programs involves building the buffer between yourself and liability. We saw Rick Pitino back in the tournament this year, but I don't remember the name of his black assistant at Louisville who got a lifetime ban for buying strippers and hookers for recruits with Pitino's money.
Cincinatti is another program in coaching turmoil, as coach John Brannen has been suspended pending "internal investigation." Six Bearcats have entered the transfer portal this offseason. The NCAA sniffed around by request but found nothing to reprimand. The athletic director has launched his own internal investigation now, with the intent being to fire Brannen for cause rather than paying his buyout. Hard to believe he can go back to work after this. The transfers don't seem to be "race related" past Brannen's reputation as a strict disciplinarian. Just something to keep an eye on at this point.

I swear North Carolina basketball players were getting stand ins to take their exams for them too and had friendly professors bell curving their exams and papers. I seem to recall Williams playing dumb and using his southern charm to get his way out of it.
in a surprise twist, the latest news has Walker Kessler heading to Auburn and the sleaze ball head coach (((Bruce Pearl))). i hope this isn’t correct, not only because i want him to go to Gonzaga, but also because i don’t want any of our guys to become involved with the despicable (((Pearl))).
Kessler to Auburn is a real head scratcher.
I think Arizona is the new team to root for. I see lots of white European players going to play for Tommy. He’s great developing euro players.i posted the rumor, but it turned into reality. Tommy Lloyd, the longtime top assistant at Gonzaga and man who recruited a TON of international players (many of whom are White), has taken the head coaching job at Arizona. he’s walking into a dumpster fire due to the MASSIVE violations committed by, and under the authority of, former head coach Sean Miller. the NCAA “should” throw the book at Arizona, but after seeing them do absolutely NOTHING to North Carolina, Kansas, Kentucky, LSU, Tennessee, etc., at this point nothing would surprise me ... including applying no penalties to the Wildcats whatsoever.
for Lloyd, this is a big payday with very little pressure (at least for a few years) for the first-time head coach. it will be interesting to see how his teams develop and what happens to his now-former team of Gonzaga.

I agree I hope Gonzaga doesn’t change what got them to be a top program.I agree it's very possible they could be exciting in the near future. They already have several white europeans on the current roster that are very talenetd. Add a few more and then go after some american whites. I
remember when Chase Budunger played there. Lute Olson recruited him and the guy could jump of of the guy with over a 40 inch vertical. Chase was too unselfish as he could have been a huge star. Hopefully some
of the current guys will not be afraid to take the lead. I'm avery happy for Tommy Lloyd. He deserve the money, fame and the chance to prove he can run a program by himself. I just hope Gonzaga doesn't change to
alot different team going foward. Stay with what works Gonzaga. Hopefully we can root for both of these teams going forward.
Great news guys. Buddy Boheims brother Jimmy Boheim is transfering to Syracuse. So both sons will play for their dad next year. This is gonna be so cool to watch!
