Drew Timme is putting on an absolute clinic tonight for #1 Gonzaga against #5 Texas.

that’s fair, but unless Timme has dramatically improved his outside shot from a year ago, then he’s MUCH better with both feet in the lane (from the high post to the block) than outside it, while Dickinson can reliably stretch/make the defense guard him out to the 3-point line. besides, Timme is such an excellent passer, he’d be deadly dealing the ball to cutters from the high post. and while Timme is a below-average rebounder, allowing Dickinson and Holmgren (both FAR superior rebounders) to cut/dive from the outside to hit the offensive glass would be damn near impossible to stop.

i'd love to see that offense, but i’d hate to have to defend it.

I'm watching Timme completely shred the futile Longhorns defense coached by normally stout Chris Beard. Timme can put the ball on the floor, run in an uptempo offense, and get into the post with the ball from 15 feet out without effort. I just naturally imagine he'd slide down positionally for Dickinson, who can't do any of that stuff. But Dickinson did hit a three tonight, which he supposedly worked on all summer, so maybe he could pull a defender out further. Just depends what kind of sets you wanna run!

Right now, Timme is at 26-4-3 with 14 minutes left. He's actually slowed down since the first half and may have his stats curtailed by the blowout. What a fun player/team to watch!

Drew Timme has 37 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. There is still a little over 2 minutes left in the game. Holmgren didn't play too good but to be honest
he didn't have too. He was solid on defense with 2 blocks and he changed alot of shots. He just wasn't needed in the offense. I hope Drew Timme gets
the player of the year award. He is a junior so he could go in the NBA Draft or come back for his senior year.

It's sad to see what the Detroit Pistons have done with last years NCAA Mens Basketball Player of the Year Luke Garza. They never play him. He just sits on
the bench. Would this happen to him if he had a better tan? You have to wonder. I doubt it. They love to take our best guys and bury them. Teams that draft
them just don't really want to see them succeed. As JimmyChitwood says, you really can't make this stuff up!

Thanks for the updates. Pistons suck. No reason Garza can't get 20+ minutes off the bench. Their 1st Rd pick Cade Cunningham is the next Ben Simmons. Can't shoot a lick! But he's Uber affletic and will figure it out, sure.

6'-11" Colin Castleton (Florida) had 15 points 16 rebounds & 6 Blocked Shots to beat 20th ranked Florida State 71 - 55. Dude plays with intensity@!

Syracuse starts four whites this season. Buddy Boeheim's older brother Jimmy has joined the starting lineup after finishing his degree at Cornell. Jimmy seems like he was pretty legit in the Ivy League. Cole Swider also found a new home here by way of Villanova. Joe Girard III is 8-8 from deep after two games. All bets are off next year, but for now, this is probably my favorite basketball team (although Gonzaga is really fun!)

Excellent! I knew the Older Boeheim transferred over, had no idea Swider did as well!

Wisconsin is currently playing on national tv against Providence. the Badgers started 4 White athletes and will likely bring several more off the bench. Providence, conversely, only have one (starting power forward Noah Horchler) ... it’s a no-brainer who i’ll be cheering for.

speaking of teams with only one White player, Marquette features Tyler Kolek (plus a walk-on ... does he count?) a 6-foot-3 redshirt freshman guard who transferred in (for some reason?). Kolek from the look i had appears to be a lockdown defender, and in fact hit the game-winning layup after stealing the ball and taking it the distance. i wonder what the rest of the story is with him.

Thanks for the heads up on the Wisconsin game. Just flipped over and it looks like Davison plus a few new White athletes. Very nice.

several White Badgers spent a lot of time on the bench in foul trouble in the first half due to “playing defense while White.” add in some VERY poor shooting and a shoot(bricks)-first affletic point guard, and Wisconsin hasn’t looked very good.

fortunately, there is another half left to play.

Badgers dropped it by five, 63-58, but their defense was superb. hard to win if you can’t make a shot, though. by my reckoning, Wisconsin went through shooting droughts of 0-7, 0-10, and 1-14. if it wasn’t for their defense and toughness, this game wouldn’t have even been interesting.

lots of room to improve moving forward, but there was some good stuff in the loss, as well.

Purdue is winning 30-10 in the first half. They are ranked 6th in the nation and should be on their way to a blowout win. It's a great team to watch
as 3 of the 5 starters are our guys. Hope they continue to get better as the team goes forward.

Byu plays later tonight.

Iowa is playing right now against all-black NC Central.

********

Creighton remains perfect on the young season with a win tonight against all-black Nebraska. all three White Bluejay starters scored in double figures.

Embarrassing loss for #4 Michigan at home against unranked, all-black Seton Hall. Dickinson had 18-9-4 on the night but could have asserted himself more. Between their transfer point guard and their one-and-done "superstar" freshmen, they play lousy team basketball and don't shoot well as individuals. The last possession with ten seconds left out of a timeout was cringeworthy playground ball, reminiscent of five black Tarzans swinging through jungle branches on invisible vines.

Juwan Howard just signed a five year contract extension. It seems like he wouldn't choose to return to the NBA ranks until his youngest son, a recruit for 2022, finishes his college career, and now he won't be asked to leave. Howard just took the team to Washington DC for the inaugural "Coaches vs Racism" game against an HCBU, where they toured the various black monuments and met the black power sprinter who demonstrated on the Olympics podium in the sixties. The team all posed for a picture with that guy with their fists raised. The bench warmers wear obnoxious warmups during games with BLM slogans on their backs.

Dickinson is the only white player in the rotation. Even affirmative action extraordinaire Tommy Amaker kept a couple white players in his bench rotations on his Michigan teams 15-20 years ago. Howard has run off two white scholarship athletes (Colin Castleton and Cole Bajema) and recruited Dickinson and current freshman PF Will Tschetter in his three seasons at the helm. Tschetter appears to be redshirting and is not really projected into the rotation next year, either. Technically, Howard signed Franz Wagner, although that was mostly a John Beilein/Moe Wagner legacy recruitment. This Dickinson-only team is a decades-low water mark for white athletes at Michigan, and it will get even worse next year.

Wisconsin starts four whites (apparently?) and Iowa and Purdue each start three. These are the only three remaining "white-friendly" teams in what used to be by far the whitest power conference in the country. The commercial breaks provide an unwelcome barrage of advertisements feautring black men driving luxury cars, black men buying jewelry for their white girlfriends, black insurance agents helping hapless white men, race-neutral covid vaccine ads for kids, and sassy young Asian ladies upending stodgy old white men to provide proper financial investment advice. I do not feel compelled to consume this product!!

BYU handily beat #12 Oregon. The Cougars of course featured a majority rotation of gym rats who ran the Ducks off the court. BYU is 3-0.

the Hawkeyes pulled away late to give a misleading impression of the game. Iowa played poor offensively aside from Patrick McCaffrey and Keegan Murray, a legitimately gifted future NBA pick. (perhaps Patrick is, too?) their defense bailed them out against all-black NC Central, but the Hawkeyes have a lot of work to do.

Creighton’s three White athletes are solid, and as i mentioned above they all finished in double figures. Ryan Hawkins had 15 points and 10 rebounds, a game high. the main problem with the Bluejays, however, is their shoot-first, turnover-prone freshman point guard. Nembhard, the younger brother to Gonzaga’s Nembhard, has 13 turnovers to merely 17 assists through the team’s first three games, two of which were against cupcakes.

Purdue’s front court looks strong. bouncy freshman four, Caleb Furst (14 points on 5-7 shooting and 11 boards), and giant 7-foot-4 center, Zach Edey (18 points on 8-12 shooting and 12 boards) are playing well enough to keep preseason all-American Trevion Williams coming off the bench.

Furst looks very strong so far. It's ultra impressive for a true freshman big to step in on a Big Ten team, especially on a squad like Purdue with national title ambitions.

One box score I always check is Villanova. Point guard Collin Gillespie defies the caste system by leading the conference favorites at the forbidden position. He had 21 points on 5-12 3pt shooting against HCBU Howard. Chris Arcidiacono (former national champ Ryan's brother) backs up Collin, and freshman Angelo Brizzi is waiting in the wings to inherit the Wildcats lead guard role. How many D1 schools have even a single white point guard on scholarship?

Juwan Howard is going to be a complete nightmare and a failure for Michigan. Hopefully Wisconsin and Iowa kick the crap out of them. I have also noticed an uptick in friendly black males driving 4x4 pickups helping out old white guys by fixing their porches etc in a lot of commercials. Oreo also now features a black Santa in the North Pole. Not a big deal it’s fine!

One team many here are not talking about is the University of Arizona Wildcats. They start 2 es 3 of our guys. So six of our guys are on the team. Their leading scorer
is Azuolas Tubuelis at 16 points per game. His brother is also on the team. Tautvillas Tubelis but he only comes off the bench. Then to add to
that they have Kerr Kriisa who is the 3rd leading scorer with 13 pts per game so far. Pelle Laarson is a key player of the bench and could easily
be a starter. There are alot of whites from Europe on this team and also American born whites. They are a young but talented team It will be
interesting to see how they do in the Pac 12 Play later this year. They play again Friday Night in Las Vegas against Wichita State. You guys might
want to give this team a look as I think they are one of the top 10 teams to root for here at this great message board.

Purdue continues its strong start to the season, knocking off #18 North Carolina, 93-84. behind the stellar offensive performance, and eye-popping stat line, of sharpshooter Sasha Stefanovicb (23 points on 7-13 shooting, 8 assists to only 1 turnover in 35 minutes), Purdue’s 3 White starters knocked off the “superior affleticism” of the aptly named Tarheels (who only allowed one White athlete onto the floor).

the Boilermakers will take on #5 Villanova tomorrow at noon central on national tv.

Noticed Colgate upset Syracuse today as well!

That sucks as Syracuse is probably the best team to watch as far as the starters go and they have talent.

I've mentioned the U of A Wildcats and they are off to a 4-0 start. Very young but talented.

Minor setback for The Orange. They usually play their best basketball later in the season when it counts, if memory serves me right. Good win for Colgate and their 4 overachieving starters.

Looking forward to Arizona for the first time in a while!

Utah State forward Justin Bean is a player that’s been mentioned in years past, but he is certainly flying under the radar nationally ... in the Aggies’ four games this season, he’s already hit 30+ points twice and had three games of at least 14 rebounds. he’s a superb player.
