Did anyone hear the latest news out of Toronto?
An unsupervised Black toddler, wearing underwear only left the apartment building where his family lived, into very cold temperatures and after wandering around, froze to death. Temperatures were around -30 Celsius.
Don't get me wrong, it is sad that a toddler died.
However, White Liberals in Toronto have went out of their way and donated more than 200,000$ to the Black family of the toddler. Presumably this donation is some sort of apology for what exactly? I can't help but think there would have been no donation if the family was any other race.
The donation was organized by an affluent White liberal man. Seemingly hundreds of White liberals gave donations. Initially the donations were meant to cover "funeral costs" but it seems now it's just being handed ove to the black family.
Probably on some level these White Liberals think their donation is a reparation for slavery, white privilege, and the disadvantaged of black families. This all despite the fact that slavery never existed in Canada.
There were also interviews on Canadian national news of White Liberals literally crying their eyes out over the death of a black child they never knew or even met once.
Do these White Liberals care as much about disadvantaged kids in Europe, Asia, or the Middle East? Probably not.
Will the White guilt ever end?
