The bantamweight division has a new champion in Ohio's Cody Garbrandt. This is a massive upset. Cruz hadn't lost in 9 years. Garbrandt always called out Cruz as a point fighter who couldn't finish his opponent. Cruz said Cody wouldn't touch him and compared himself to Floyd Mayweather, but Cody knocked him down 4 times in round 4.
