An article (http://bleacherreport.com/articles/110475-roger-clemens-is- a-national-embarrasment) from a site called Bleacher Report says; "Like O.J. Simpson, Roger Clemens has all the appearance of an unrepenant bold-faced liar, and I'm sure that most people following this case will undoubtedly be hoping that he gets hit with an indictment, followed by a conviction and a significant amount of jail time that would perhaps teach this coward the lesson that he never learned on the baseball diamond where he arrogantly swaggered for years."
It is interesting that even though Barry Bonds is supposed to go on trial for perjury in March, the writer compares Clemens to O.J. Simpson. The writer also says:
"Roger Clemens is currently a black mark on the game of major league baseball and has become a national embarrassment and an anti-role model for sports fans and children everywhere."
And:
"A memo to Roger Clemens: If you think you've been in the big leagues, wait until you see some of the prisons they have upstate. When the verdict ultimately comes down for you, perhaps you'll find out the hard way that the toughest bullpens in this country aren't really located somewhere out in the dirt and grass behind left-center field."
My, you would think Roger Clemens had slashed two people to death with a knife.
