"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results."

"change is all too hard. I'm in a nice comfortable place where i am"

There appears to be no spark to start the inner fire that burns for success. He'll just gradually drift away from international competitiveness and keep running club. His choice though I guess.

6.65 for Lemaitre.
He said he expected to do better, and his coach did too.
Same old story . . . everyone expects him to do better, but he doesn't.

Meanwhile, Julian Reus tied the German record yesterday with a time of 6.53, 2nd fastest in the world this year.
A guy from Iran is #1 with 6.52.
John Teeters runs today; he already posted a time of 6.60 2 weeks ago.
There's lots of other track news already this season, but I'll wait for the site to be fixed before posting it all again.

LOL! of course he expected to do better, 5 years and counting of the same ****....its so sad, that he really rather fail just to stick with the same old BS coach and trainers. Its insanity. Someone needs to smack Lemaitre, maybe it will wake him up.... but don't worry 'It will come, you shall see'

Is the Irainan guy pure Iranian or a migrant from Sub Sahara Africa claiming Iranian citizenship, something that Saudi Arabia and Qatar do with Sub Saharan Athletes.

Wow 20.44 is really moving. This is good news as it shows his speed endurance at this point of the season is ahead of schedule. There is nothing I would like more than to see Christophe return to form. Let's hope for the best.

Here is a blurb about Lemaitre's performance in the 200m.
Please take note of the last part - same old Lemaitre. o_O

"An encouraging result (in the 200m) for Lemaitre, one week before the Championships of France, which makes you forget the bad impression left in the final 60 meters, where he was second in 6''63 after a terrible start."

Yawn...he always has a terrible start. if I were Lemaitre, I wouldn't even bring it up. The 200 time, very encouraging. He should just focus on the 200, run a few 100's as a training tool to build speed for the 200. But that 200 was very nice for him.

If you rewatch that 60 race above you could see that the winner kept swinging his arms into Lematires lane. I think
that might have also helped him to win as Lemaitre has to move over to the edge of his lane to keep from bumping into
each other. Just a thought.

Sounds like an excuse Lemaitre would come up with, and thats not the reason he lost, but in more positive note: After watching the 200 and even this race, Lemaitre looks different, he looks more fluid, and though his start looks mediocre at best, he seems to be accelerating all the way through. I think he will have a great year in the 200 and may surprise us in the 100....and believe it or not, I'm somewhat confident this year on Lemaitre. Keeping fingers crossed.

What Hypocrisy? I see something different in him in these two races that I didn't see in the last 5 years. I call it like it is.

He hasn't done anything for 5 years! so yes, he regressed and everyone here, but you, will agree with me...Lemaitre has been working with Laurence Bily so I give her the credit, not your Training Master Caraz.... by the way, I never mentioned your name so why even comment? you must like the attention.

"Lemaitre has been working with Laurence Bily"

Only 3 or 4 times by year !
She's not his trainer. Every day, Christophe works with your friend Pierre Carraz :)

Those 3-4 times is much more than what Master Caraz has done in 5 years.
