Christian Blum

Christian Blum won a small tuneup meet today in a time of 6.69 seconds. He is only 5/100th of a second from the time needed to qualify for the World Indoor Championships. He has a long ways to go to get back to last years form, but at least he is healthy. He races in a big meet next weekend against very stiff competition. Hopefully he can hit the standard there. Good luck to Christian Blum.

Blum ran a 6.71 in his heat today to qualify for the final, but then didn't run in the final. I hope he is not hurt again.

Christian Blum will be opening up his 2010 outdoor season on May 23rd! Watch out for this guy this summer. He is like a tiger ready to pounce on someone. He has had some unbelievable bad luck over the last year and a half but he is ready to put that all behind him. I expect some big things by the end of the summer from Christian.

I am very anxious to see Christian, Tobias Unger and Robert Herring racing again. All three of these guys have some serious talent.Edited by: white lightning

Christian opened up his outdoor season today running a slightly wind aided 10.19 to win the race. The wind was 2.3 which is slightly over the 2.0 limit for a legal time. What a shame but a great first outing none the less. He also ran on the winning 4 x 100 relay. Here is a link to news about the track meet. Click on the article on the left side of the page. Christian Blum races in a meet in Germany which starts in around a 1/2 and hour. He will race the 100 and 4 x 100 Relay. Hoping for nice weather and fast times. This kid has some serious talent with a p.b. of 6.56 in the 60 from just two years ago. I'm hoping for a breakout season for him! Good luck Christian.

Blum finished in 2nd today in a modest time of 10.36 with 0 wind. Martin Keller of Germany won in a time of 10.34 so it was a slow race. Didn't get to check on the relay but I'm sure that Blum is dissapointed with his race today.

deutsche sprinters kommen zuruck, warte ab bis dem em barcelona. i still think T.unger has some really good times in him{with some assisted wind this time.} and BLUM a real talent but wrap him in cotton wool!
