ummm....I could not find any true threads about this dude, so I took the liberty to make a real one for him. Dude is playing out of this world:

In 11 games into the season, Kaman has scored 20+ points in 9 of them, and he's scored no fewer than 14 points. Not in the All-Star game? Yeah, right! Just 3 things he needs to become an All-Star this season:

1. Health (pray he doesn't get injured at any point)
2. Consistency (keep up those numbers)
3. Confidence (show no fear against anyone)

Today, he just led the Clippers to a 101-93 win over Oklahoma, and I saw that game live:

25 points (10-15 FG's, 5-5 FT's)
7 rebounds
1 assist

The WC All Stars could have Kaman, Dirk, Nash and P. Gasol.

M. Gasol, Okur and Ginobili would really have to step up their game to make it.

Another solid night for Chris Kaman:

20 points (7-14 FG's, 6-7 FT's)
9 rebounds
2 assists
1 steal

I've voted for this dude as a write-in 9 times already!

It's a new CAREER-HIGH for the Caveman! Shame the Clippers lost 108-99 to the Rockets.

29 points (13-21 FG's, 3-5 FT's)
7 rebounds
3 assists
2 blocks

Anyone notice something alarming? Many of the NBA's good white players are playing on losing teams! I count only Dallas, Phoenix, Milwaukee, San Antonio, and LA Lakers on the winning side. Orlando's whites seem marginalized as of late.

I like the nickname. It's so easy even a Kaman can do it! Too funny. What a game. I hope he makes the all star team. I know he is a long shot but we need to hope for enough write in votes.

This is definitely the game of the season for Kaman. A surprising victory against the powerful (and thuggish) Boston Celtics, 92-90. This dominating performance might just elevate him to the 2010 All-Star game.

I am wondering if Kaman will be shooting less when Griffin returns. He needs to be the star of the Clippers regardless of the hype surrounding this affrolete Griffin.

It's a possibility. But with the way Kaman is performing, I think Griffin will need to step aside until next season to prove himself otherwise. For now, this Kaman's team and season to shine! He played great again despite another losing effort to the Blazers, 103-99.

The afrolete Griffin is one of the most hyped up players in years. Luckily they play different positions so Kaman will still be a starter.

Hey WA33, I would go against the caste media and say that it is Griffin's white genes from his mother's side that make him a tremendous athlete.

Another solid game for my man Chris Kaman with 26 points, 10 rebounds,4 assists and 2 blocked shots!! These are the types of numbers he should have been putting up for the past several seasons if he was more involved in the offense.

Another solid game for the best center in the league. Kaman had 20 points on 9 for 13 shooting with 8 rebounds and 4 assists.

The western allstar centers should be Kaman and Marc Gasol. Pau is listed at forward I believe.

Does anyone know who currently leads the western voting for center?

ugghhh he's a power forward. That would be lame if he was the starter.

I could be wrong about this but I think I read last week that the Lakers big man Andrew Bynum was the lead vote getter at center. I hope I am wrong on that because Kaman is clearly better.

Does this answer your question, guest301???

Kaman just outplayed Bynum today, 102-91 Clippers win!

Kaman - 21 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 1 block
Bynum - 15 points, 14 rebounds, 1 asists, 2 blocks

Kaman is far more deserving for the All-Star game at this point!
