Chris played an absolutely dominant game for Germany tonight.In only 18 minutes (he sat the whole 4th because they were so far ahead), he had 24 points, on only 12 shots, shooting 10 for 12 and 4 of 5 FTs.
Does he elevate Germany to a medal contender? Oh yes he does.They crushed Angola tonight by 29, a team they could barely beat 2 years ago in the worlds (winning a triple overtime game), with the same roster other than Chris.
Oh yeah, btw, Dirk chipped in with 23 points, on 9 shots!
As a team, they shot 55% from 3s, and outrebounded Angola 39-22. Germany is for real.I can't wait to see Germany play some more games, including the last pool game against Team USA.

Germany is getting dominated by the good teams and has a long way to go before it is competitive.
Hopefully Chris plays with the team again at the next World Championship.

In the Spain game, Chris's body language was horrible. He looked like a whipped puppy. I don't know what is going on with him, but he needs to get his heart into the game.
