Davis has just about rapped up the HR title. Miguel Cabrera has screwed himself by playing injured and he has no power right now as he can only use his arms to swing. Davis might catch him in RBI too, only two behind. Cabrera will probably win his 3rd straight batting title though as he will sit when the Tigers clinch, that will lock his average in and it will probably be out of reach of Trout now 20 points behind.

Davis # 52 and I believe he's now tied with Cabrera in RBI's with 136!

Looks like Crush might be in the throes of some sorta Steve Sax/Chuck Knoblauch/Rick Ankiel type mental situation. He struck out 4 times in a row tonight, 3 times looking, while going 0 for 5. After striking out twice in 3 at bats in his last game, he's now 0 for his last 8, with 6 punchouts. His batting average fell to a season low .193.

Good thing he's such a nice guy, or he'd be getting destroyed by social media right now.

He has to go over video of what junk sucker pitches the opposing pitchers are striking him out with and in what situations and learn to lay off them. I know they can't get by a fast ball on him. If learns this he can be like McGwire late in his career. If he can't he will become Dave Kingman or Rob Deer.

Yes, Davis is struggling. One of the things that makes us morally superior to those on the left side of the political spectrum is that we have the balls (or ovaries) to admit it when "our" people aren't doing well. Compare that with B.J. Upton and his fans. Upton is struggling in a manner very similar to Davis, but he is not subject to the same level of questioning and criticism because of the color of his skin. (Yes, Upton is getting some criticism, but Davis is getting it a lot worse).

They got him. I guess his wife won't be fighting anyone on Twitter anymore about his no longer "alleged" drug use.

He got popped for Adderall not any form of steroid. Dumb decision as now he likely misses the playoffs too unless the Orioles advance far.
