The last time a white player was drafted in the top 2 was Andrea Bargnani in 2006; that was 16 years ago!
 
And to okc too. Which now has 2 of their top three players as young white studs. Pg Joshua giddey and now pf/c Chet holmgren. They also have a couple other Whites on the roster. Maybe a fun young team to root for.

Yes sir. Giddey and Holmgren have the potential to be with the team for the next decade if things work out. They both could also make many all star games in a few years from now. This is very exciting news! :)

I'm not sold on Giddey. It's a shooter's league and he's a poor shooter. It's what kept Rubio from being an all-time great.

You forget that Giddey is 19 and will have plenty of time to work on his shooting. Even Jason Kidd late in his career improved his shooting. It can be done through hard work.
 
I agree Giddey’s shot is sub par. But, it’s forced him to become an elite playmaker and rebounder. I like his game, and he will utilize Holmgren for pick and roll dunks.
 
Giddey out performed my expectations though! At 19 nonetheless! There are plenty of Black Guards in The League that can't shoot, and that doesn't stop them from still jacking up shots. Giddey and Holmgren will be a force in the Future!
 
Chet Holmgren 13 first quarter points in what I'm assuming is his first NBA summer league game. Also 3 blocks. He looks great! I might be watching some OKC this year.
 
Watching OKC as well. Playing Chet, Giddey and Poku all together. Very entertaining. Also Nikola Jovic looking excellent for Miami.

Yes Jovic had 25 points and made it look like he is a career nba player. Amazing how talented some of these young me are already!

They won again tonight in another blowout playing on back to back nights. I love it as they start 3 of our guys. If only they can do that for the regular season it would be even better. We know they will start 2 but 3 would be great.
