Used to be said that Toronto was like New York if run by the Swiss.
Changed quite a lot for the worse over the last 15 years, unfortunately.
It’s an expensive place as well, I have often wondered how their real estate market remains so elevated even with all of the supply they added in the last 20 years.
Very sad to see. Ironically Montreal feels much cleaner and safer than Toronto and historically that was never the case.
