This kid is as fast and gifted as they come.He is only 5'9 but has won the Dunk Contest every year at Wisconsin.
He plays like a animal and is all over the field.He led the Big Ten in interceptions and is always one of the top tacklers.He can run & jump out of the gym.He also is
now the All Time Big Ten Return Yards Record Holder.

Every one keeps talking about the Wisconsin Badgers having the best defense in the nation.They probably do
and thats why they are 9-0 and ranked 4th in the country.
One of the biggest reasons is Jim Leonhard.This kid
is having another amazing season and reminds me of the
movie Rudy.The only difference is that this Rudy is the
star of the team and plays every down.Jim is as gifted
athletically as any football player that I have ever seen.I can't wait to see this kid play on Sundays.

He's also nominated for the Jim Thorpe award for
best defensive back. I wish him luck with that.

Jim had 2 interceptions today against Iowa and a fine game on kickoff returns. He has the bowl game and then it will be onto the NFL Combine.Good luck to him.

What a talent this guy is. I watched the Wisconsin-Iowa game and Leonhard was constantly around the ball on defense, and he's also a great kick returner. He has it all, but we'll undoubtedly hear it all from the segregationists in the media and scouting services -- "too small," "too slow" etc.
