The Tampa Bay Rays have a lineup that is not much better than the Angels,some questions have been raised about shortstop Jason Bartletts racial status,with some saying it is mixed Latin/Euro,any answers here?

Well, at least the Rays have more of an ethnic mix in their starting lineup, as opposed to just black in Anaheim. Bartlett looks mixed in some photos but as white as anyone in others. Interesting.
1B: Carlos Pena; Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
2B: Akinori Iwamura; Uwajima, Japan
3B: Evan Longoria (White); Downey, CA
SS: Jason Bartlett (Mixed?/White); Mountain View, CA
LF: Carl Crawfod (Black); Houston, Texas
RF: Gabe Gross (White); Baltimore, MD
CF: BJ Upton (Black); Norfolk, VA
C: Dioner Navarro; Caracas, Venezuela
P: A white guy, except maybe Garza, but he looks pretty white too.
I don't know if / who is platooning, but their bench players are pretty mixed too. They have a lot going on. My favortite player by far is Grant Balfour. He's the most intense pitcher they have and overpowers people. Chad Bradford's delivery is cool, too.
I liked watching the Rays in the regular season when the Yankees were struggling, but I have to pull for the Red Sox over them in the postseason.
