I will be sending $100, either by money order or CC, whichever seems easier, in the morning....thanks for what you do.

Well, that makes 3 of us! My $100 money order will be in the mail by Friday or Saturday. The nearest post office is a bit out of my way to home/work, so I can't make it until the end of the week.

Considering how much this site has opened my eyes in the 3 years since I have joined, it's the least I can do. Thanks Don for everything that you've done and continue to do for this cause.

Don --
Just finished putting in $75 to your goal. Glad to help! When I stumbled onto this website a few years back, I didn't really know what to expect. However, like many other posters are stating, it's something you really learn a lot from! It's been very helpful in getting ideas to show my DWF friends just what the heck is going on with sports these days.

But, you know what, I think times are changing for the better. Think about it -- we now have to change the main page because this info no longer applies: "There are zero starting white tailbacks. No white running back has run for over 1,000 yards in nearly a quarter of a century." This is GREAT info to have to change!

We are a quarter of the way there Don. Baby steps my friend. Keep up the great work guys and thank you to everyone. I have contributed in the past and will in the future. I don't know what I would do with out this site. I'm hooked on it like I'm hooked on caffeine. Haha. What is more important however is the changes that are happening one step at a time. Very exciting times as I've said before but the fight has only just begun. Edited by: white lightning

That is great, Don! We're almost 1/3 of the way to the needed amount in less than 5 days! It is great to see so many people giving and I hope it continues.

Awesome! It shows that we have quite a few people who don't just talk the talk, but indeed can put their money where their mouth is!

I've made some great friends here on this site and have loved seeing some of the small steps of progress that have been happening over the last couple years with white RBs (like Hillis, Gerhart and Woodhead- and the minor uptick in white WRs too who all may have been completely blacklisted from the NFL without awareness of the CS). We still have much progress to make as a mid round caliber pick like Jake Sharp was completely ignored this year even by team training camps which is why this site's voice is so important. I haven't felt wanted by a few posters before, but overall my experience has been more positive than negative here. WL has been very supportive to me as a moderator here and over on Youtube. I can send $20 via Pay Pal this week. I will try to donate another $40 when my financial situation becomes more stable if my wife o.ks it. That would probably be in the Spring. Thanks to all my friends on CF!

Thanks for the kind words TJR. We appreciate having you here. Every little bit helps guys. Don Wassall is the man that makes this site possible. With out his knowledge, money and where with all, it would not be possible. Thanks to everyone that has helped so far. We are 1/3 of the way there. I cannot wait to see how the new site is going to work. I'm sure it will be alot faster and having the search button work better should help among other things. The myspace page never really grew like we thought it would. It did ok but this site and a future radio show are the keys to continue to make progress towards our goals.

Yep, the myspace page stagnated right along with myspace itself. It still has a lot of "friends" but very few of those people are actually on myspace anymore. I get less than 10 reads for each new CF article I post. I used to get dozens. We do have a small facebook group and there has been some discussion of creating a facebook fan page. I agree with you white lightning, an upgraded website coupled with a internet/radio show would lead to a lot of growth, imho.

Payroll hit earlier than expected so I just added another $55. I will make an additional contribution with my next payday in approx. 2 weeks!

For those who feel they can't financially make a contribution, what about all the lose change in your car, around the house, in your pockets, etc.? Heck just put the change in an envelope and send it to Don.

Don't ask me why it's important, but often times different organizations brag not just about the amount they have raised, but the contribution rate. That counts all the people who have contributed, even if they only gave 2 or 3 bucks, divided by the total number of members. Supposedly its a sign of a strong, active, healthy organization where there's a high contribution rate.

Just to show that we care and that we have a healthy active membership here, please even those not doing so well financially please find a way to throw a couple dollar bills, or even the change around the house in an envelope and send it to Don. I'm sure counting all the assorted money is a problem Don wouldn't mind dealing with!
