It seems like the media love having field days on these trials. If the person is young and White then it's a national soap opera. The shocking thing is with all of the evidence she was found not guilty of murder even CBS had a 1 hour show based on the trial..

This country gets all worked up about the death of one child while we abort(murder) at least 1500 a day in this country. What a disconnect! The woman is clearly guilty and she will gets hers one day.

What kills me isall the people that have the time to show up at her trial to gawk and make comments afterwards. There was some unemployed tree trimmer interviewed outside the court house about his thoughts and he had brought his 3 year old son along. My only thought was you have the time to watch this circus but not th time to go out and look for a job. I know nobodies perfect but it just seems like the world is just chock full of idiots and crazies. I see it at least 5 times a day in some shape or form.

Scott Peterson is saying to himself: why didn't I get a jury that considered lack of motive and no actual link to the crime a reason for acquittal? Circumstantial evidence = reasonable doubt? Perhaps if the prosecution had presented a video tape of the actual crime the jury might have been convinced. Anyway my kids have been missing for a month now so it's time to par-tay!!!!

Yep. Casey Anthony told more lies and looked guiltier than Scott Peterson did which is saying something. How someone behaves is evidence IMO.

Good points, Carolina Speed. You are right that Caley's death is "worth getting worked up about" but only if you are a pro-life person. If you are not pro-life then you are not entitled to worry or feel sad one bit about Caley.

I think juries are getting more and more stupid by the day in this country. We don't like making judgements about personal behaviour anymore and we have a CSI culture which expects some kind of miracle technology to come in to the courtroom and solve the case for everybody. Circumstantial evidence is still evidence and it should lead to a conviction if you get enough of it.Edited by: guest301

Absolutely guest301, there's no accountiblity for ones' behaviour. It's an anything goes society; and people who know better, like some on that jury were affraid to speak out against the others who just didn't care.



On the subject of pro-life, you don't even have to ask who is and who isn't. All you have to do is listen to them speak, such as,Caseys' defense team. They obviously have no regard for a childs' life.

I was somewhat surprised, but happy to see many protesters in Florida, asking for justice for Caylee!

Good points, 301. We're living in a postmodern society that believes in moral relativism guided by political correctness. Whatever I believe is right is ok for me (not necessarily others), as long as it isn't intolerant of the wrong people and I don't try to get people to adopt my beliefs. It is the same way for everyone else. There is no real standard anymore. So we find people putting more value on animal life than on human life. Our growing culture of death and lack of moral standards manifests itself in cases such as these. News like this shouldn't be a surprise to us, but maybe it will help wake a few people up.

Authorities in the Flint area say a 2-year-old girl who died over the weekend was found to have five human bite marks and a lacerated liver.

The Flint Journal reports 2-year-old Tiarra Woodward was found not breathing in her home Sunday morning in Genesee County's Flint Township and was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The case was being investigated as a possible homicide.

Flint Township Police Chief George Sippert says some of the bite marks were fresh while others appeared to be a few days old. He says they appeared to be from an adult.

Sippert says blunt force trauma to girl's abdomen may have caused her death. A 20-year-old man was taken into custody but hasn't been charged.

foobar I dont know if this is relevant but fox news had a ten minute piece on the flash mobs about 4 days ago though they only referred them as inner city youth who came from 1 parent homes. Guardian Angel Curtis Sliwa was even stating that most of these kids were just followers and if you took out the leaders the followers will stop. Nahhhh, their all animals regardless. Its funny how liberals dont seem to know the first thing about personal responsibility. We are all responsible for our own actions.
