The most interesting thing about this fight is the post fight interview. Weather Canelo will agree to fight GGG.

Canelo looking like a million bucks against a fighter who sent the check in the mail. Looking forward to the post fight interview.

Boring fight to be honest. One man wasn't interested in engaging. Canelo looks efficient and powerful, but he has the wrong style and is too short for GGG who will counter and crash his face until he quits or falls down. GGG would love this fight but I'm not certain it is going to happen.

To Chavez' credit, he didn't go down. Those are some heavy caliber shells he's getting cracked with. Canelo is obviously the superior fighting package but he's also up against a weight-drained cadaver. I wonder how Canelo would do against another lean, hungry fighter built like a tank who isn't afraid of anyone. I think GGG gives a better performance than Chavez Jr. That would be a fight to see.

*edited to add* I think if Golovkin fought Chavez Jr. tonight, GGG would have TKOed him or KOed him.

Granted, GGG won convincingly against Jacobs, but didn't put him away. That's because Jacobs was not only so much heavier than GGG, but also because he actually fought back. If GGG had target practice like Alvarez had against Chavez Jr. tonight, I think Chavez Jr. would be taken out on a stretcher. What does tonight's result say about Alvarez' finishing power? He should have gotten Chavez Jr. out of there.

Alvarez can't hit like GGG or Lemieux, so he needs multiple heavy combos to get a knockout. He never really pushed for the KO and Jr. didn't give him opportunities to load up on combos. With GGG's straight shot ICBM power, Canelo will get obliterated as he doesn't have the legs to get away from that type of attack.

BIG DRAMA SHOW Septemter 16, 2016. Canelo said he will fight GGG. GGG plate is full. Canelo demostrated great condition and crisp combinations. I still think GGG beats a very competiive Canelo.

Canelo was so confident of a Jr beatdown, they had a GGG intro ready to que up at the end of this sparring session. LOL

When Canelo fought skill he had size; when Canelo fought size he had skill; Canelo always had the power advantage. Against GGG, he won't have skill, size, or power advantage. Canelo will fight, but this fight, will is not enough.

When GGG v Canelo happens we will certainly see who is a good fighter and a great fighter. Both will leave it all in the ring. I will predict GGG winning, but it will not be a cake walk. Can't wait for that fight.

GGG vs Alvarez good one! I like the sportsmanship from both. Canelo looks much more European than most of the boxers they try to pass off as European nowadays, like the Englishman by way of the African jungle, Joshua. Even the British announcers last night said that he looked more like an Irish or Scotchman. 10% of Mexico is Aryan.

Yes traditionally the style that thwarts a puncher is a boxer. Both guys are boxer puncher types, if Canelo gets wobbled he will probably have to go toe to toe with GGG if he can't hang on to clear his head.

PS hopefully that's it for the reluctant Jr. He showed as much fight as shot 40 something fighter. If he does comeback look for him to be quickly sacrificed by whomever promotes him on the comeback tour as his star power is in name only at this point. At this point Omar Chavez fights for the Chavez clan as he showed in the prelude to this fight last weekend when he ko'd Canelo's swarthier brother......

Especially the ruling class. Their ways of pushing their scum unskilled workers into the US has worked like a champ for the past 30 years.
