Can Wariner break the 400 World Record?

I say yes and I belive he will do it this coming week at the World Championships in Osaka,Japan. It is a very fast track and he is peaking at the perfect time. He will be pushed for around 350 meters and then Jeremy will turn on the afterburners. I predict a new world record of 43.10! Let's get some predictions guys.

I would love to see him break the record now, but I think thats a year or two away. I can see him getting close. I predict a 43.29. I'll also make another predition. I see him running the first 42.9X in the next 3-4 years. when his 200m going sub 20, look out for some amazing 400m times! good luck to JW at the worlds!

Yes he can if his 350 times are accurate. Will he it's 60/40 against it. He needs to run the perfect race and even then he could fall short. 43.18 is awfully fast. This record will fall if he is still competing at his peak in his mid to late 20's though...

I think he will but not quite yet.

If he runs 43.30- 43.40 I'd think that would put him squarely at number
two all time if he isn't already ( in fact wasn't Butch's time a bit sus due to
a later doping infringement?).

I think he'll probably never run a sub 20e but I hope I'm wrong.

with a PR of 20.19 a sub 20 is very possible.
