Campbell

I can't believe that ANY unbiased talent evaluator sees a franchise QB in Campbell. I don't even think he's a great good backup QB, he should be strictly a 3rd string emergency QB. Gradkowski has much more upside and is the better QB right now than Campbell is and Bruce will no doubt will out-play him in the preseason but probably wont be given a legit chance to be the starter. The best players play...

"Jason" is already declaring himself the starter. This guy is a mess, even compared to other present day affletes. He never had to compete in D.C., so why now? Such racism....

Actually, Campbell is in the perfect situation. Russell was SO bad that any QB on the planet is bound to look better in comparison. I hope that they let Gradowski actually compete for the job. He isn't really special, but has shown more in very limited playing time than "Jason" has in his longer, uncontested career.

Campbell is an average starting QB at best. I'd say he's probably a little below average, but he could be a good 2nd string guy. In a fair world Gradkowski would get equal opportunity to compete for the starting job next season, but it looks like Campbell will be "anointed" (by the media, DWFs and himself) as the starter.

From DuMucous to CampDull, wow! What an upgrade, now the Roiders really got a great quotablack. Look out AFC West, Al, Sammy Davis has got these guys on track. Just Win Maybe?

It is interesting that the nfl seems to be palying a game to keep as many black as possible in the starting QB position. Shuffling black QB's here and there to maintain the illusion of black QB competence. I wonder if it's remarked upon in the league? It's pretty obvious to me.

Yep, I think this shuffle alluded to benefits McNabb and Campbell. Both guys had clearly had worn out their welcome in Philly and DC, even amongst the drunkest of the DWFs. However, they will now be embraced in their new cities as both are clearly and upgrade over their predecessors. McNabb being better than Campbell and Campbell being better than Russell. This buys these guys 2 years (maybe less for Campbell) before they are seriously challenged as a starter.

However, the positive here is the NFL gained 1 white starter in all this moving, with Kolb taking over in Philly. Maybe even 2 if Gradkowski takes the job for the Raiders.
