Just a quick news note: the Cleveland Browns replaced their black offensive coordinator, Maurice Carthon, with Jeff Davidson the offensive line coach. Is this good news for Joe Jurevicius? We'll see.
It should be becuase Carthon was just a joke when it came to calling plays and directing an offense. I really feel for Jow because he's already missed some games this year in his first year playing for his hometown team. He wants to win so badly for his family and friends that come to the games each week and for the city of Cleveland but the team is just awful.Edited by: whiteCB
Maurice Carthon went from running backs coach(easiest job)to the 2nd hardest job on a team. This was a case of him not having the tools for the job. Telling your tailback what holes to hit and the fullback not get high when he blocks is nothing compared a 200 page playbook.Edited by: white is right
Now the Browns have a staph infection outbreak. What next? They are a cursed franchise since starting over as an expansion team. MOdell should never have been allowed to move them to Baltimore.
Frye and Joe just can't seem to get in synch. It's like they never just prctice by themselves say after practice to try and develop a rapport. There is no chemistry between them at all.
